The nurse alerted me to the various warning sirens my pacemaker/defib emits to warn me of various developments. One was being too close to a magnet, one was if the battery is running low, and I do not remember the third warning sShow moreound, but I am to go to an ER and have the representative for my pacemaker/defib check and see what the problem is...unfortunately I did not write down the three issues, and my memory is not as strong as it was a few years ago. I've had this lifesaving device for over 6 years, and this nurse is the first one to alert me to it danger signals. So, thanks algoes to Dr Siouffi for educating his staff. Having been given a written report of the three alert sounds would have made this a 5 star. No place to give it a 4.8 recommendation.
In early, seems like a new check in girl was struggling a little but was coached well by a supervisor and did a good job. Was called in early and was interviewed about why I was there. She took charge and quickly updated my probleShow morem. She left to relay her thoughts to the Dr and quickly came back and gave me an EKG. When the Dr came in he already had the new EKG to compare with the one I brought with me. He sorted out the problem right away. Turned out the EKG I furnished was incorrectly read and I had no problems. Checked out and was on my in short order. I have a hearing problem and everyone was very accommodating. Very professional and cordial. It was a really great visit!

I have only been to the office for my initial appointment at this point. From this experience, I recommend Southshore Cardiovascular Associates. Each staff member I encountered treated me with kindness and respect. I did not feel rushed. They listened thoroughly, understood my concerns and communicated their thoughts on what the issue might be and what next steps would help us get answers. The professionalism and thoughtfulness of all staff was very appreciated.
Seemed like a assembly line atmosphere, as well as scheduling as many appointments in the future thus creating more opportunities for insurance and deductibles when tests could have been conducted
