About Dr. Sara Cathcart, DPM
Sara Cathcart, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist serving patients at the South County Foot & Ankle locations in Lincoln, Providence, and Scituate, Rhode Island.
Born in Scituate, Dr. Cathcart completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University. She then earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 2016 from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, where she served as Student Body President. More recently, she completed a three-year residency at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence and had the honor of being selected as chief resident her final year. During residency, she was trained in the clinical and surgical treatment of many foot and ankle pathologies.
To stay up to date with the latest advances in podiatry, Dr. Cathcart maintains professional affiliations with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Rhode Island Podiatric Medical Association.
As a native Rhode Islander, Dr. Cathcart looks forward to providing excellent care to her patients in a comfortable and friendly setting.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cathcart enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and their dog, Penny .
