When we arrived for this appointment, we were told a "message had been left " that the office had not received referral authorization from the primary. We left, checked the voicemail, no message, no missed call, no call at all frShow moreom this office. We contacted the primary who said the authorization HAD been faxed the day before to the correct (verified) fax number. At this point, this was our 2nd wasted trip to the office, the first being scheduled at the Tavares office without our knowledge, so we showed up at the Villages office. Once we confirmed with the primary, we went back to your office, primary had refaxed it in the meantime, and the fax was received, we were able to see NP Laura. We had a wonderful visit with her and cannot express enough how thorough she was, so our experience with her was great, the rest of the visit not so much therefore only a 3.
Had to wait 45 minutes after my appointment time to get in to see the nurse practicniter. Everything that was done during this appointment could have been done over the phone in less then half the time. This was very much unnecesShow moresary . I have an appointment for Jan. But could not be told the time, this appointment is within your own building! I will be told the time the day before the appointment. Not my way of doing business. We're not all on hooks just waiting for the next office visit. Poor arrangement in my way of doing business. I have to have a driver to and from this appointment, it's not just me. No consideration here.

Reviews
Dr Tabrez is a very knowledgeable, kind, thorough, and caring doctor. I have had many Gastro doctors, and they have not worked out. I am very sensitive to all meds, and, therefore, I’m not easy to treat my husband, and I like to patronize the same doctors for each illness. Dr. Tabrez, goes over your records thoroughly before he speaks with you, as he does not wish to miss anything. He, also, is very patient and allows you to speak and ask questions.
Dr. Tabrez really knows his profession! He’s pleasant to talk to and covers all of your issues and concerns. Highly recommend!!
He was very excellent, asked a lot of questions to get the whole story of what was happening.
Dr Tabrez is wonderful. Takes his time to explain. The only down fall is the waiting room , when you have a 11:15 appointment and they call a 11:30 appointment first. When asked about this they said she signed in first. What is the point of a appointment if it first come , first served?
long wait to be seen. slow getting back information on tests taken.
Clear, straight-forward explanation and discussions.
Patient since 2008. No problems. Listen to you.
Doctor very friendly and explained in terms I could understand.
Very cordial and professional interaction with Dr. Tabrez
The wait was extra long, with no explanation.
Always good. Professional. Informative. Takes time to listen to me.
Very attentive and caring. Communicates medical information so it is easily understood. Dr. is compassionate and has provided me with excellent care.
He fully meets my expectations. Wait times in the Villages office need to be better managed by office managers.
Dr Tabrez very thorough and shared his thoughts. Will follow up with tests and I am pleased.
Staff and Dr were excellent. Very friendly...my only concern was an Hour wait to be called in and then a 20 minute wait until I saw the Dr... A total of 90 minutes after my appointment time. I understand things come up with other patients but you should notify upfront an extended wait.
Wait not too long this time. An improvement! The doctor spent a lot of time with me, I was surprised how much time. Action plan implemented to help me feel better. Really good office visit.
Dr Tabriz is a very caring man. He explains everything very well and listens to the patient's concerns.
perfect
Yeah, he explained exactly like no other doctor has done ever for me. I. He was very thorough and answered all my questions.
Great doctor! Explains everything very thoroughly and clearly.
I have alway felt so informed in my visits with Dr Tabez.
Good bedside manner. Got me back on the track to health after gallbladder surgery and pancreatitis.
Timely and professional
Staff was awesome and very helpful. Primary doctor didn’t fax the referral lady at front desk got on phone personally and got it taken care of. Wait was a bit long think it got overbooked that day. Waited 2 1/2 hrs. That’s hard on patients and your staff. But awesome staff and doctor.
3 hour wait is a bit excessive!
Dr. was efficient.
Two hour wait..
Very nice, informative, takes the time to make sure all my questions are answered.
Very thorough discussion of my condition and test results by Dr. Tabriz. He explained in detail the next procedure needed and even drew me a detailed diagram. He was thorough, reassuring and comforting.
The Doctor & his staff was great
