I love Dr Kassab because she takes her time to explain the issues and is very friendly. However, the wait is too long. Even other patients were complaining about how long they had to wait to get in to see the doctor.
Suha Kassab, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon. Dr. Kassab is the founder of Bloomfield Family Footcare in Bloomfield Hills and Dearborn, Michigan, where she provides comprehensive foot and ankle care for conditions such as ankle sprains, heel pain, and plantar warts.
Dr. Kassab earned her Bachelor of Science in pharmacy studies from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, in 1982. In 1986, she received her doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Kassab completed her residency at the Central New England Podiatric Residency Program.
During her residency, Dr. Kassab provided podiatric care at hospitals throughout New England, including Massachusetts General Hospital, West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital, Joslin Diabetes Center, and St. Vincent's Hospital.
Since launching her career in private practice in 1988, Dr. Kassab has invested her time and resources in relieving pain and improving foot function for her patients. She emphasizes the importance of preventive care through custom-made orthotics, diabetic foot care, and medical-grade vitamins.
Dr. Kassab is also at the forefront of innovative treatments, such as extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT), a noninvasive treatment that repairs soft tissue damage without surgery. As a skilled foot and ankle surgeon, Dr. Kassab offers surgical care for plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, bunions, and other conditions that cause chronic pain.
Involved in multiple professional organizations, Dr. Kassab is an active member of the American Academy of Professional Practice Management, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, the National Arab-American Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the Arab-Chaldean Medical Association, and the Bloomfield Hills Chamber of Commerce.
