Tam holds a Masters of Science in Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health and believes strongly in the healing power of food. Her highly individualized, whole-person approach is based on the bio-psycho-social model, making sure that any proposed nutritional interventions fit each individual's lifestyle. She puts a great emphasis on patient empowerment, behavior change, and the importance of a partnership between the provider and patient. She has special interest in treating blood sugar dysregulation, adrenal dysfunction, autoimmunity, and relationship to food.
