Taylor graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. Taylor also graduated with honors and as a National Merit Scholarship recipient. Her undergraduate studies focused on how religious beliefs may aid patients in their healthcare journey, when appropriate.
Taylor then completed a master’s degree at The University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, receiving training at the Schusterman Center, where she learned essential skills, such as chronic disease management and medication management for patients.
Following graduation, Taylor worked as a psychiatric physician assistant for the Laureate Psychiatric Hospital and Clinic in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Key qualities Taylor learned from her work experiences include effective risk management, a strong work ethic, and ensuring high quality across the clinic.
Inside the workplace, Taylor took the initiative to spearhead several projects and improve the quality of life for many patient populations. Taylor started the transgender hormone management program, providing hormone therapies for transgender patients. She also devised a protocol for Suboxone® patients to improve their healthcare.

Taylor complete in makeing sure she’s covered everything you need and always willing to take all the time needed to answer your questions. I just love the job she does. She the best I’ve ever had. It would be a huge loss to loss her as my practitioner. I recommend her 100%.

Great as always
If I could give zero stars I would. Taylor Tope is nice enough, but is unreliable as a mental health provider. There were a few issues with timely refills, etc., but I was going to stick it out. However, two weeks in a row I have been in crisis due to a med change, and despite numerous messages I left, sometimes crying, begging her to call me, to make adjustments, she has failed to respond. She has left me going into two weekends in a row in crisis. I specifically said in messages that I could not go into another weekend without some kind of help. Nothing. I’ve already made an appointment with another doctor for next week. Someone who does that to their patients shouldn’t be in the mental health field.

Talor is very detailed and kind hearted. She is also very well educated and many things especially your own case. Taylor makes you feel not judged, she will be very open for you and she encourages you to be yourself. I thank God for Talor bringing me to her. She has helped me make sense of things in my life. She would be a great fit for anyone with any type of challenge. Thank you Talor for care, dedication, time and love you have shared. Appreciate you so much

Dr. Tope is excellent and very understanding with patient needs. She is also quick to respond to all communication and easily accessible to answer and questions or concerns.

I've had a great experience with Taylor Tope. Over the years, I've been to several mental health professionals and had kind of given up on medication working for me, and Taylor identified the problem in one appointment and set me on a really good path. I'd recommend her over and over again!
