I went and saw Dr. Adams today for my yearly. I am so Thankful I ended up finding Lakeshore. I was having major issues and after a month of seeing my Dr and tests, someone finally listened and fixed my issues. I have had my life bShow moreack for 5 years now. It is haed to find a Dr. Who listens to what you have to say and really care. Going they issues now I guess with aging. I have no doubt I will get back on track with the help of Lakeshore. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Adams. I've been dealing with painful issues for years that every other gyno dismissed. I'm incredibly thankful I found him! I just got home from my in house surgery to have my polyps removed and the Novasure treatment. I was a little hesitant at first but this went so smooth. Todd J. Adams, MD, MPH, FACOG, is a Board Certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving the residents of many North Carolina communities, including Davidson, Huntersville, Lake Norman and Mooresville. At Lakeshore Women's Specialists, PC, the doctor and his staff specialize in all aspects of women's health. Dr. Adams goes to great lengths to help his patients get the highest quality of care possible. He uses state of the art equipment and diagnostic tools to accurately evaluate and treat each of his patients.
Dr. Adams graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He then went on to complete his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. While working as a resident and chief resident, Dr. Adams developed his skills in the use of minimally invasive surgery techniques and treatment of incontinence and pelvic support problems, pelvic pain and high-risk obstetrics. He opened his practice in Mooresville, NC, in 2003. A few years later, Dr. James G. Zolzer joined the practice providing even more years of knowledge, experience and wide range of expertise.
Dr. Adams has volunteered for the Mooresville community free clinic and has served as Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology and on the Medical Executive Committee at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. As his practice has grown, so has his family with the birth of his youngest child at LNRMC. When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and Weimaraner, as well as his church family at The Cove. Dr Adams was personable and professional. He took time to listen to my concerns and addressed them in an educated manner that was also easy for a nonmedical person to understand. He explained to me the exam and testing he needed to do and why it needed done. He explained the different options I had to treat my issues and we came up with a plan that meet my needs, lifestyle and schedule. I found Dr Adams to be very caring and knowledgable. I would highly recomment Dr Adams and his staff to anyone needing an OB/GYN physician.

Love Dr Adams and the time he takes with me and his other patients. I wish he's was allotted that time in his schedule better. When my appointment is at 1:30pm but I'm not seen with him until almost 3pm, there's a major scheduling problem. Allow him the time he needs! This has been a struggle for years. You have to allot your entire day to this appointment because you never know how long you'll be there. He's a great doctor, let him be!

I love Dr. Adams but I hate the wait every time I see him. Today was an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time. I had made my appointment to be right after lunch. No one keeps you updated why you are having to wait. Once you get to see him he spends quality time with you.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Adams, yesterday. Having moved a lot over the years I dread trying to find physicians who are not only knowledgeable but caring. I feel like I just won the jackpot! Dr. Adams spent more time talking to me and discussing my health than any other doctor I have seen before. He went into great detail explaining to me my condition and how he thought we should treat it. I never felt rushed, or that my questions were not valid. I am so hopeful for my future health and that I have found my forever doctor. I am so thankful a friend recommended Dr. Adam to me and I will also highly recommend him.
Absolutely love Dr. Zolzer and the ladies at the office. He is kind, professional, thorough & patient. This was my first visit and he made me feel at ease. The office is great at scheduling and the online portal makes it a breeze to check appointments and lab results. Highly recommend!
