This was my first time at this office and provider. I had seen previous good reviews for Dr.Handcock and I can see why. The way he greets you when entering the room, from explaining things in a way that I have never heard before, Show moreto discussing potential surgeries I was looking into was just all excellent! He is very thorough and informative. Talks kind of fast, so I was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up, however he does reiterate some things quite a bit. I really enjoyed my appointment and felt everyone was friendly and efficient. Would recommend!
Dr. Evans was lovely! I was sad when my old doctor retired and so naturally concerned about going to a new one. During my first visit with her, Dr. Evans was an attentive listener; she listened to what my old doc did to treat my hShow moreealth as an individual, and, when I raised a new concern, she didn’t try to just “treat the symptoms” or dismiss me but offered good suggestions to investigate to ensure what I was experiencing wouldn’t grow to be a potentially worse issue. She expressed both warmth and knowledge: wonderful bedside manner and professionalism.

After completing his Bachelor of Science in chemistry at South Dakota School Mines and Technology in Rapid City, South Dakota, Dr. Handcock went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota.
Dr. Handcock then completed his OB/GYN residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine, Baylor Scott and White Health (BSW) in Temple, Texas.
He holds a Texas medical license and is a professional member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American Medical Association (AMA).
In addition to excellent patient care, Dr. Handcock has been voted best teacher by Texas A&M medical students, best upper-level teacher by his colleagues, and best upper-level teaching resident. He’s also received the best surgeon award from AAGL.
When he’s not taking care of his patients, Dr. Handcock volunteers his time promoting fitness and health. He is an avid runner qualifying and competing in the Boston Marathon multiple times. He also enjoys outdoor activities with his partner, Dan, and their dog Finnigan.

Dr. Handcock is the best! Delivered both my babies and also had surgery with him. Takes his time and teaches you along the way with every pregnancy and what to expect. I recommend him and this clinic to everyone.
