2nd visit… Valerie Butler is nice but she’s ready to pop. My visit was calmer than last time. However no one told me I needed labs before this visit, so it wasn’t a very productive visit. I will know it for next time. (First Show moreendo I had I came in and did labs) Got pricing on labs so I know what will be charged should my insurance not pick up the costs. I got a $600 bill from my PCP lab which I fought for 6 months before I paid $186 which was still too much. Anyways, it was quick check in, in the room and out the door before you could say Jack Rabbit
First visit… Valerie is nice! I’ve avoided endocrinologist for 5 years. I’m a difficult patient, and she saw me at 3:00 PM, so probably not a good mix. I hate endocrinology, and Valerie is my fifth endo. I refuse do the everShow morey 3 month routine just to hear… keep doing what you’re doing. Was I excited to be there… No! Was she excited to see me… doubtful. I’ve dealt with Graves/Hashimoto’s for 20 years and pre-diabeties, T2D for 10 years. Bottom line: bring your records, meter, and meds list, and fill out your pre-check-in documents online before you get there. If you’re looking for an endo, I recommend her.
