Tebra Community Terms & Conditions

General code of conduct

These Customer Community Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”) outline what is expected of you and what you can expect from other users when you access our Customer Community (“Community”).

By accessing and using our Community, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use, so please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms of Use, you should not use the Community. Tebra reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion.

1. General Use of the Community

Be respectful. Our Community is intended to be a positive resource for helpful, relevant information and constructive engagement. To help us fulfill this purpose, please refrain from posting any content that violates Section 2(a) below. Your opinions are always welcome, but personal attacks and harassment on the Community or Community members are not acceptable.

Be cognizant. In an ideal world, our Community would be filled with only good actors providing relevant, helpful information–and while our Community Moderators do their best to make that ideal a reality, Tebra cannot control all the information being shared or solicited in the Community. To help ensure you have a positive Community experience, please do not post or otherwise share any personal information or information that you otherwise do not wish to be public. Remember, any information that you post can be obtained and used by others. In addition, be wary of any advice or guidance shared by other users that sounds incorrect, misleading, or unsafe. If any user asks you for personal information, such as an address, password or credit card number, do not provide it.

Be Relevant. The Community is provided as a service to Tebra customers and is not intended for the promotion of third-party services, products, websites, or organizations. Please refrain from posting content that would constitute advertising, spam, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation, and from discussing personal matters or posting in a manner unrelated to Tebra products and services.

Need help? Just ask. If you are new to Tebra or to our Community and are unsure about anything, ask the Community Manager or any of our Community Moderators. We are happy to help!

2. Prohibited Use of the Community

You may only use the Community for lawful, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use. You agree not to:

Post any content (i) that is abusive, libelous, defamatory, inflammatory, unlawful, pornographic or obscene, harassing, threatening, harmful; (ii) promotes or incites violence, terrorism, illegal acts, or hatred on the grounds of race, ethnicity, cultural identity, religious belief, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation; or (iii) that is otherwise objectionable in Tebra’s reasonable discretion.

Post content or use the Community in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation (including, without limitation, any laws regarding the export of data or software to and from the US or other countries).

Engage in any conduct via the Community that, as determined by Tebra, may harm Tebra or Community members, or expose Tebra to liability.
Copy, modify, transmit, publish, or create a derivative work from any material found on the Community for any public or commercial purpose.

Accumulate, index, monitor, gather, or extract, directly or indirectly (including by way of data-mining, scraping, crawling, or using any robot, other automatic device, script, technology or processes that send automated queries to the Community), any data, content, or information from the Community or any portion thereof for any purpose not expressly authorized in these Terms of Use.

Use the Community in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Community site, or that restricts, inhibits, or interferes with any other party’s use or enjoyment of the Community, including their ability to engage in real time activities through the Community.

Use any device, software, or routine that interferes with the proper working of the Community.
Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Community or features that prevent or restrict use of any content or enforce limitations on use of the Community or the content thereon.

Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful.

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Community, the server on which the Community is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Community.

Otherwise attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Community.

In addition to our rights in these Terms of Use, we may take any legal action and implement any technological measures to prevent violations of the restrictions hereunder and to enforce these Terms of Use.

3. Billing Companies & Other Third-Parties

Community members who represent billing companies further agree not to solicit or offer billing services to other Community members, either (1) in posts, comments, or direct messages within the Community, or (2) in communications outside the Community using provider information obtained from the Community.

Providers may not request outsourced billing services through the Community and should instead speak with a Partner Consultant in the Tebra Partner Connect Program to ensure that they are being directed to a vetted and trusted billing company partner.

Community members may post information related to other third-party vendors to the extent such information is related to Tebra products and services (such as partner integrations in the Tebra platform), provided that Community members only share relevant information and do so in a respectful manner and in compliance with these Terms. Solicitations for third-party products or services and defamatory or disparaging comments about third-party vendors or Tebra will be treated as violations of these Terms of Use.

4. Suspension

We may immediately suspend access to the Community, without notice, for actual or suspected violations of these Terms of Use. If you know of usage that violates these Terms of Use, please let us know by contacting us at [email protected].

5. User-Generated Content

Any content that you post, upload, provide, input, or submit to the Community (“User-Generated Content”) is generated and controlled solely by you, not by Tebra. You acknowledge and agree that your User-Generated Content remains your sole responsibility. By submitting User-Generated Content to the Community, you hereby grant to Tebra a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free and fully-paid, freely transferable, sublicensable right to exercise all copyright with respect to your User-Generated Content for internal business purposes, including improving security and product development. Please do not post content on the Community if you do not want to grant Tebra the above-mentioned rights. With your permission, Tebra may copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, perform, or modify your User-Generated Content for promotional purposes, such as customer testimonials.

Tebra reserves the right to make an exception to the “three-strikes policy” and implement immediate suspension or ban depending on the severity of the situation. In addition to the “three-strikes policy,” our Community Moderators may take any action they deem necessary in their own judgment to support the Terms of Use.
