After earning her degree in finance and marketing at Binghamton University in Binghamton, New York, she graduated with a master’s degree in traditional Chinese medicine from New York City Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also cared for children undergoing chemotherapy at the Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey.
