He has also been awarded scholarships such as Family Medicine Leads Scholarship, OMS FD Mistry Scholarship and AFMRD Family Medicine Advocacy Summit Scholarship. He also served on the AASM Advocacy committee and is currently a Board of Director of Advocacy for USleep America.
