He finished his residency at LSU Family Medicine program and served as the Chief Resident of Administration 2022-2023. He has also served as a Resident delegate for AAFP national conference in 2021 and has established relationships with lawmakers to advocate for public health, Chapter delegate for LAFP in 2021-2023 and Resident alternate member to LAFP Congress of Delegates 2022. He has also been awarded scholarships such as Family Medicine Leads Scholarship, OMS FD Mistry Scholarship and AFMRD Family Medicine Advocacy Summit Scholarship. He also served on the AASM Advocacy committee and is currently a Board of Director of Advocacy for USleep America.
