Jose Ventura, MD, CMD, FAAFP, SFHM, is a board-certified family medicine, Board Eligible Geriatric Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician and founder at BThere Healthcare, a telehealth and house-call model practice serving patients in the state of Maine. Dr. Ventura is an experienced healthcare leader, skilled in developing treatment plans and strategies to enhance patient wellness. Dr. Ventura attended the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador for his doctorate in medicine. He relocated to the United States to pursue his internship and residency training in family medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. During his final year of residency, he served as a chief resident. Following his residency program, he joined the geriatric medicine fellowship at Maine-Dartmouth Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program in Augusta, ME. I have a bachelor's in nursing (BSN), a Master of Public Administration (MPA), a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Adult Gerontology Primary Care, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). I am board-certified as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP-BC) nurse practitioner, FMCSA certified medical examiner, and a Certified Hearing Conservationist. My extensive nursing background consists of ER nursing, occupational health nursing, skilled long-term care nursing, management and Associate
Professor of Nursing.

Umesh Narayanan, M.D. is a native of Tampa, Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Sciences at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida (Go Gators!). He completed his medical school at Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean. He completed his Family Medicine Residency training at the University of North Dakota in Minot, North Dakota. He then went on and completed a Geriatrics Fellowship at the University of Arizona Geriatrics program here in Sun City, Arizona. He loved the area so much and has found permanent residence in Phoenix, Arizona. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine and is Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is also an academic preceptor for the geriatric fellowship program through University of Arizona/Banner Health. He has fellows and residents rotate with him once a week. He is married. His wife is a Physician Assistant in Dermatology in the area. In his spare time, he is an avid sports fan and enjoys watching and playing football, basketball, and baseball. He also enjoys hiking. Traveling the world and trying various cuisines is his passion.
Dr. Navazo identified a need in the community for in-home medical services and founded this practice, in 1997, in order to provide medical care to those who can not easily visit a Doctor's office for medical attention and care. Dr. Luis Navazo serves as the Medical Director for Mobile Doctor Medical Clinic also know as the Rancho Santa Fe Medical Group. Dr. Navazo brings over twenty years experience as a medical Doctor to the practice and continues to provide patient care as the senior physician of the group. Dr. Navazo is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine and has received post-graduate medical education training at the University of California at Davis/San Francisco.
Dr. Navazo is certified both as a Wound Specialist and as a Medical Director for long term care, and contributes his efforts as an esteemed consultant for many North County long term care facilities. Dr. Rachel Frankel Meek is the Medical Director of The California Longevity and Vitality Medical Institute®. She was born in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a graduate of University of California at San Diego (Muir College, 1981) with a B.S. degree in Biology. Dr. Meek received a Masters Degree in Public Health (M.P.H.) from University of California at Berkeley in 1983. She subsequently graduated from The College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific at Western University of Health Sciences in California in 1987. Dr. Rachel Meek completed her Internship in Family Medicine and then a Residency in Pediatrics at Kaiser Hospital in Oakland, California. From 1991-2004, she was a Partner at Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in Antioch and Walnut Creek, California. Between 2004 and 2008, she has practiced Family Medicine in the Bay Area. In 2009, Dr. Meek completed the full continuing medical education program in Age Management Medicine at Cenegenics Medical Institute in Nevada. She is certified by Cenegenics in Age Management Medicine. Subsequently, Dr. Meek completed a 2-month Preceptorship in Age Management Medicine with Dr. Harvey S. Bartnof at California Longevity and Vitality Medicine Institute® in San Francisco. Dr. Rachel Meek joined the Institute as a Staff Physician in 2009, where she practices Age Management Medicine.
