FoxHall Dermatology is a board-certified dermatology practice in Northwest Washington, DC, offering comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin care for patients throughout the DMV region. Our team of four specialists covers the full spectrum of dermatology — from acne and eczema to Mohs micrographic surgery and advanced injectable treatments — all under one roof at 4910 Massachusetts Ave NW.
We serve one of the most diverse cities in the country, and our expertise reflects that. Two of our physicians trained at Howard University Hospital, widely recognized for excellence in caring for patients with diverse skin tones and conditions that disproportionately affect skin of color. At FoxHall, inclusive dermatology isn't a marketing line — it's how we were trained and how we practice every day.
Whether you're coming in for a routine skin exam, managing a chronic condition like psoriasis or rosacea, or exploring cosmetic treatments like Botox® or dermal fillers, you'll receive care from physicians and providers who know your skin and take the time to get it right.
Washingtonian Top Doctor: 2022 · 2023 · 2024 · 2025
Dr. Suah is a Washington, DC native who completed his medical training at Howard University, the DC VA Medical Center, and Children's National Hospital. He has been recognized as a Washingtonian Top Doctor four consecutive years — a distinction awarded by peer physician survey, not patient volume.
His clinical focus spans medical and cosmetic dermatology, with particular expertise in caring for patients with diverse skin types. Dr. Suah personally performs all cosmetic injectable treatments at FoxHall, including Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®. He also offers general dermatology care for conditions including acne, eczema, hyperpigmentation, melasma, and hair loss.
Dr. Bembry specializes in pediatric dermatology, skin of color, and complex medical skin conditions. She brings a thorough, unhurried approach to every visit — whether she's treating a child's first eczema flare or managing a long-standing inflammatory condition in an adult patient.
Her training and clinical focus make her one of the most sought-after providers in the practice for patients whose skin concerns have been misdiagnosed or undertreated elsewhere. Conditions including keloids, central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA), post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and scalp disorders are among her areas of expertise.
Dr. Nozile is double board-certified in dermatology and Mohs micrographic surgery — one of the most precise and effective treatments for skin cancer available. Mohs surgery achieves the highest cure rate of any skin cancer treatment while removing the smallest amount of healthy tissue, minimizing scarring and preserving cosmetic outcomes.
Having a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon on staff means FoxHall patients can receive diagnosis, surgical treatment, and follow-up care within the same practice — without referral to an outside surgical center.
Carolyn brings a warm, patient-first approach to a full range of dermatologic concerns. She provides expert care for acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and age-related skin changes, and performs cosmetic treatments including Botox®, Dysport®, Patients consistently describe her as thorough, approachable, and genuinely invested in long-term outcomes.
Four Consecutive Years as a Washingtonian Top Doctor Dr. Suah has been named a Washingtonian Top Doctor every year from 2022 through 2025 — one of the few dermatologists in DC to hold this distinction four years running.
Mohs Surgery In-House Dr. Nozile performs Mohs micrographic surgery on-site at our Massachusetts Ave location. Patients with skin cancer diagnoses receive gold-standard surgical care without leaving the practice they already trust.
Specialized Expertise in Skin of Color Washington, DC is a majority-minority city, and skin conditions present differently across skin tones — affecting diagnosis, treatment selection, and outcomes. Our team is specifically trained to recognize and treat dermatologic conditions in patients with darker skin, including hyperpigmentation, melasma, keloids, hair loss disorders, and inflammatory conditions that are frequently mismanaged in general dermatology settings.
Complete Care Across Every Stage of Life From a child's first eczema diagnosis to adult skin cancer screening to cosmetic rejuvenation, FoxHall provides continuous, comprehensive dermatology care for patients at every age and stage.
Convenient Northwest DC Location We're located at 4910 Massachusetts Ave NW, Suite 308, easily accessible from Georgetown, Foxhall Village, Palisades, Glover Park, Tenleytown, Friendship Heights, and the broader DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.

Kimberly Matzie, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon at Fairfax Colon & Rectal Surgery, PC.
Dr. Matzie was born and raised in Granby, Connecticut. She decided to pursue a career in medicine after undergoing an operation in her freshman year of college. The procedure went well, but the surgeon didn’t have the best bedside manner, and no one on the surgical team explained the process or what to expect during recovery.
Dr. Matzie left the hospital inspired and committed to making interactions with her patients both positive and informative. After earning her undergraduate degree at Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Dr. Matzie enrolled at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
There, she earned her Doctor of Medicine before completing a residency in general surgery at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. While there, Dr. Matzie also completed fellowships in clinical research, surgical care, and critical care.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Matzie completed fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. She received extensive tutelage in advanced laparoscopy for small bowel, colon, and rectal surgeries.
As a colon and rectal surgeon, Dr. Matzie has special interests in Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery (TEM), a minimally invasive approach to removing large rectal polyps and early cancers not responsive to colonoscopy excision or other traditional techniques.
When she isn’t at work, Dr. Matzie enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris, and their two daughters.
