I'm a family nurse practitioner and acupuncture physician with a deep passion for thoughtful but practical medicine. Over more than 30 years of clinical practice, I’ve been refining an approach to healing that bridges complementary therapies with modern evidence-based science, helping people navigate chronic pain, trauma, neurodegenerative disorders, anxiety, and many of life's other challenges. My Credentials Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANPCB #F0605156) and the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM #15170). Licensed to practice in Arizona, Florida, and New York. Above all else, I am a son, husband, and father - roles that continue to shape how I think about health, healing, and caring for others. My Professional Education Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Five Branches University Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Graduate of the South Baylo University, School of Oriental Medicine Postgraduate fellowship in Primary Care Psychiatry at the University of California, Irvine My Approach to Healing My treatments incorporate behavioral, neuro-muscular, and physiologic perspectives. Depending on the circumstances, I employ acupuncture, hypnosis, medications, or therapeutic injections to produce tangible results. My expectation is that you will notice a difference after the very first visit. My intent is to not only address the apparent physical symptoms alone but also the underlying root causes of the “dis-ease.” While I can’t compete with other practices on the interior grandeur or the marketing budget (needless to say, you won’t find my name under “the best doctor near me”), I take pride in offering my patients a sensible alternative to a soulless corporate-run health care “system.” While I can’t compete with other practices in terms of size or grandeur, I take pride in helping my patients overcome what other doctors had dismissed as psychosomatic.
