Dr. Zia Ahmadzada completed his undergraduate education at the University of New York at Albany in 1997. He then went on to receive, in 2002, a doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the oldest dental schools in the United States. As the second largest dental school in America, with a class size of approximately 190 students each, it has an excellent reputation, and it is renowned as a center for academic and clinical excellence. While at Tufts, Dr. Ahmadzada was recognized for attaining the Dean’s list for outstanding achievement and high performance on the National Board of Dentistry. He was also awarded an Endowed Prize Award for Ethics. Dr. Ahmadzada has been practicing general dentistry in Northern Virginia for 14 years and is dedicated to ensuring his patients receive the best possible care. This title is awarded to less than 1% of all general dentists nationwide, with Dr. Morrison as one of the youngest dentists to achieve such distinction. Dr Morrison comes from a strong family, dental tradition. He comes from a family of dentists where his dad served both in the Navy and as an esteemed DC dentist. His mother was a hygienist and his brother is a dentist in Ohio.
