Dr. Nate Minami was born in Southern California and is happy to still call it home. His interest in dentistry comes from treating a variety of patients and their specific needs. Leah Life, DDS, is an accomplished general and cosmetic dentist at Pastel Dental, located in the Laurel Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, California. Dr. Life’s pathway into dentistry started at a young age: she had the pleasure of watching her father thrive in his dental career, building a practice and loving his patients and work. Learning from him (and experiencing a few dental emergencies of her own) prompted Dr. Life to pursue a double major in biology and studio art, with a concentration in sculpture. She graduated cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in biology.

Upon completing her undergraduate degree at Georgetown, Dr. Life pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. She graduated with the highest honors as a member of Tau Kappa Omega and the National Honors Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Dr. Life enjoys creating functional, esthetic art through her dentistry but takes the greatest pride in improving the lives of her patients. Outside of work, Dr. Life is a fitness instructor, previously teaching at SoulCycle and currently coaching at Rumble Boxing. She also enjoys skiing, reading science fiction and fantasy, and playing with her dog, Baylor.

Alex Pastel, DDS, is an experienced general and cosmetic dentist at Pastel Dental located in the Laurel Heights area of San Francisco, California. Dr. Pastel is truly passionate about his profession. Patricia Louie, DDS was born and raised in San Francisco. Following a bit in her father's footsteps, Dr. Louie attended Lowell High School, UC Irvine, and then the University of the Pacific for dental school. During dental school, she provided dental care to an underprivileged population on a mission trip to Ecuador and she continues to enjoy volunteering. She completed a one-year Residency program after dental school to further her education.  She has been practicing for over 9 years and takes pride in delivering dental care in a friendly and comfortable environment.

In her free time, she enjoys exercising (she recently completed her first and last half marathon), reading, traveling, watching the Food Network, and spending time with her friends and family.

Dr. Wenli Loo is a general and cosmetic dentist in San Francisco and San Ramon, CA. Dr. Loo has been practicing dentistry for 20 years.
