My experience with Dr Arora, was one not expected as I have a strong fear with Dentist, however I was pleasantly surprised at his gentle technique, he has such a light touch I have never experience before, and his caring nature wShow morehich helped me to cope with my phobia of Dentist. I have gone from refusing to see a Dentist to now feeling assured I’m in capable hands. I’m traveling from the East Bay to see Dr Arora and I will continue to do so. I also would like to add he is so friendly, I feel I’ve known him for years. His staff are a well coordinated team and accommodating to your needs. I Thank them so much for assisting me. I recently moved to Menlo Park and needed to find a new dentist and I was a little nervous because I had some less than great experiences with other dentists in the past. Dr Alok Arora turned out to be fantastic. He answered evShow moreery question I had and has been very accommodating and easy to work with. Unlike other places I've been, I've always felt welcome at his office by Aloka and his team. And I have to say, the results of my treatment have been fantastic - I finally feel like I can smile without being embarrassed again! Dr. Alok Arora, DMD, is excited to bring his passion for dentistry to his private practice, with office in Menlo Park, California, serving the residents of San Mateo County. Possessing a background in general and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Arora is experienced in performing dental procedures gently and painlessly and will help you feel relaxed throughout your office visit.
He is committed to full transparency and mutual trust in his relationships with patients and patiently, thoroughly answers any questions or addresses any concerns. He is the founder and creator of a website-based “911 dental program” in Mumbai, India. This experience has taught him that dispensing good advice is one of the most valuable aspects of being a dentist.

When not practicing dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife, watching sports, traveling, swimming, and trying new restaurants. He is proud to serve the greater San Mateo community at his practice.

It's not often I give 5 stars to a professional, but Dr. Arora and his staff deserve 5 stars. They took me in and gave me the best possible care the same day I called and declared an emergency, even though I had never been seen by the doctor. Excellent and caring is a well deserved description for doctor and staff.

Such a wonderful dentist! Alok cares about each individual patient and doesn’t “overprescribe” treatment. His favorite comment is: “Let’s watch that tooth carefully to see if we really need to do X”. Dr Arora has been so kind and approachable. He properly explained all the process of dental implants and had multiple appointments and follow ups to regularly check up on how it was going. The entire process of Invisalign was just very smooth with him. I am so glad I chose him as my doctor.

Dr Arora is a very professional dentist that always seems to be on top of what is going on in his field and use the latest technology, but perhaps even more important, he is a great and caring person that always make you feel you are in the best possible hands. No one wants to go to the dentist but when you have to this is the place.

Dr. Arora and his team did an outstanding job of preparing the area near my missing teeth for implants, and for following through and placing the implants in a timely fashion. The implants fit perfectly and I’m glad I got the implants done in Dr Arora’s office.

Excellent care. While Dr arora always explains his treatment plan well his assistant sometimes does not. And I’d suggest that your 8AM appts start at 8:15; I’ve had a few @ 8 and it seems unlikely that they start on time
I had my teeth cleaned. The hygienist is good but sometimes a little aggressive in cleaning, although she explained ‘why’. It takes a day or so for my gums to settle down or not be sore afterwards.
Excellent experience. Hygienist was very experienced and the dentist was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Arora and his staff!

At my last cleaning Yoo explained to me why I always had tartar build up in one area despite flossing everyday. Her suggestions were awesome and I showed up for my next cleaning with almost no tartar! Thank you Yoo!

I am a 75 year old who has been to many dentists for many procedures over the years. Dr. Arora is the best dentist to ever have treated me. He was kind, competent, and sensitive to my needs when treating me. I would highly recommend him.
