I received my first adjustment around 13 years old after I turned my head and it stuck! Since, I have also been adjusted for headaches, migraines, sciatica, heartburn, pain in arm after a car accident, etc, So, I can empathize with what you are going through.
After graduating from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa I moved to Quincy in 2005 where I worked as an associate before opening my own practice. I have since adjusted as young as a few minutes old to a patient over 100 years old! I have had the pleasure of adjusting pregnant women for pain, heartburn, to facilitate baby dropping and have even had women go into labor post adjustment.
I see many sports related injuries, car accidents, people with digestive and bowel problems, just about everything.
I strive to treat you like family and to get you back to the life you love as quickly as possible. I love being a chiropractor, seeing people get well and helping them to stay well. We only get one body, it makes sense to treat it well.
“I have been seeing Dr Paxton for arthritis stiffness and for muscle spasms from a fall that I experienced.
I have visited her for treatment for other mishaps.
I find Dr Paxton has compassion and understanding. She has a technique that feels safe and the results are relief from pain. Several of my friends and my family have also found Dr Paxton helps them find relief for their pain and suffering.
I recommend Dr Paxton, her experience and knowledge have helped me tremendously”
I find a joint not working properly. I feel what is the matter with the joint. I work towards getting it to work better. A joint is just like a gear, when they are fitted together like they are suppose to be, they work smoothly without the squeaking and creaking or grinding. When the gears are not working in perfect harmony, you hear it. It is the same with the joints of your body, when they are not perfectly aligned, you hurt. My approach is specific to each peculiar condition. I have over the 27 years experience and have found what works best for the inflammation in the area of complaint, the muscles in spasm, and the joint that is fixated. I strive to work efficiently, effectively, and achieve results that give your body that youthful exuberance it use to have when the range of motion of the joints are without impediments. When the joints work, you feel better. That is my goal.
