She started her career in Lutheran Hospital as a level one-trauma nurse and after moving to Texas worked in the Surgical ICU/Open Heart Unit at Memorial Hermann.  Her experience in nursing and working with sick individuals fueled her passion for preventative medicine. She later received her Masters in Health Coaching from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.
