Meet Dr. Adelaide Packard - who left the sandy beaches of Miami to join us in the beautiful mountains of Denver, Colorado. Before heading to Miami, Dr. Packard attended Medical School in Rockford Illinois after leaving the Chicago area for her undergraduate program.  We know that she is no stranger to the cold and snow.

After nearly 20 years at Swedish, Dr. Andrew Ross was thrilled to move his practice a few doors down to Cherry Hills Midwifery and OB/GYN in 2020.

Dr. Ross is native of New York City with a University of Michigan degree in Biological Anthropology, a brief career in sports marketing, an MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, and residency in Ob/Gyn at Thomas Jefferson in Philadelphia, and has practiced at Swedish since graduation.

He is most proud of his abilities to communicate with his patients in a way that allows them to feel that their desires and concerns are an integral part of their treatment plans. His goal is complete and ethical communication so that patients feel that all their options have been made available to them, and they have been empowered to choose the plan of care that is right for them.

With a Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Dr. Ross is has been at the forefront of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, doing laparoscopic hysterectomies since the 1990s, and is certified in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery by the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons. He is the first gynecologist in the state of Colorado to have done a single incision laparoscopic hysterectomy, is skilled with the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System, and has proctored new da Vinci® gynecologic surgeons at Swedish Medical Center, as well as other hospitals locally and nationally. His professional surgical goal is to never do an abdominal hysterectomy.

Any of the veteran L+D nurses on at Swedish can attest to his ability as a birth attendant, encompassing the full set of skills to ensure the safety of mother and baby, including operative delivery to avoid C-section, as well as the communication skills to allow him to make families feel invested in and comfortable with their care. The GYN staff will speak to his efficiency and dexterity as well as an even temperament in the OR.

Personally, Dr. Ross enjoys all of the outdoor activities Colorado offers. He is an avid mountain and road cyclist and enjoys snowboarding when the opportunity arises. He enjoys cooking for his wife and son, particularly with vegetables he grows in his own garden. Dr. Ross has worked with local organizations committed to advancing the art and science of medicine, and access to reproductive healthcare.

Dr. Grace  Holub believes that trust is the foundation of a physician and patient relationship. She understands that it is a privilege to have your trust and to be your partner in caring for your health. You can expect to have her undivided attention during your appointment. She will listen to your concerns with empathy, answer any questions, and explain your treatment options. She understands that you are unique and that when it comes to treatment, one size does not fit all!   She will help you make the choices that make the most sense for you and your lifestyle. 

Dr. Holub’s passion is assisting new mothers with bringing their babies into the world, each with their own unique birth experience.  Whether you choose a natural childbirth experience, or require the management of high-risk pregnancy complications, Dr. Holub is committed to a calm supportive birth, enabling immediate skin to skin contact and encouraging early breastfeeding if desired. She understands that you may choose an intimate experience with your partner only or perhaps invite your family and friends to support you. She takes pride in the fact that she delivers highly personalized care, and that she herself delivers the majority of her own patients. 

In addition to pregnancy and childbirth, Dr. Holub provides comprehensive gynecologic care to women of all ages. She enjoys  assisting women in their personal health choices, including choosing contraception, managing menstrual issues, maintaining a healthy sexuality, balancing  hormones and progressing through the menopause years with grace. 

Dr. Grace Holub has practiced in the Denver area for over 20 years. She went to medical school at The University of Texas and completed her residency at Wayne State University and Providence Hospital in Michigan. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her dog. Her favorite activities include ballroom dance, scuba diving and immersing herself in a good read. Dr. Minton was born in Belle Fourche, SD, and grew up in Utah. He attended the University of Wyoming, and graduated with a B.S. in Zoology. He attended medical school at the University of Colorado’s Health Sciences Center, and began his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver, which he finished in 1988. He has been a partner at Westside Women’s Care in Wheat Ridge, CO and Arvada, CO since that time. He is a past president of the medical staff at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, CO. Dr. Minton is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as certified in Age Management Medicine through Cenegenics. He is a certified practitioner for BioTE, along with certifications in all treatments offered by Ageless Expressions MedSpa.

Wayne C. Furr, MD of Lone Tree OB/GYN & Midwives, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist who's been practicing for over 30 years. He attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine and did his residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles.

The multicultural nature of his residency experience has proven beneficial over the years of his practice, and his learning of Spanish has assisted him in mission trips to clinics in South and Central America. Dr. Furr served in active reserve U.S. Air Force from 1980-1982, Edwards AFB, California, and was honorably discharged in 1982 as Major.

Dr. Furr primarily practices at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital. He's been married for over 40 years to wife Vicki, a dental hygienist, whom he met in college. Together they have four children: Alyson, with a doctorate in physical therapy; Steven, who is currently an anesthesiology resident; Will, a physician assistant; and Bryan, who is a pediatric resident.

In his spare time, Dr. Furr enjoys attending church, exercising, hiking and keeping current on history and politics. Spending time with his family and friends makes him happy. Despite his hectic schedule, Dr. Furr manages to stay up to date on the latest obstetrical and gynecological medical journals.
