“During my visit, I really appreciated the excellent bedside manner that I received from Dr. Agrawal and the rest of the staff at Progressive Care. This really put me at ease, considering the circumstances of my visit. Also, as soon as my results were in, Dr. Agrawal didn’t hesitate to call me personally, since she knew I would be stressing. Now, that’s what I’m talking about, excellent patient (customer) service. Thank you, LaShan :)”

“Dr. McGee has been my gyne doctor for many years. I appreciate that she seems genuinely interested in what I have to tell her about my health. While I know not all doctors have the luxury of doing so, she LISTENS. She has highlighted potential problems, as well as responded to my concerns; her recommended solutions usually worked. She knows what she's doing without being arrogant, and I trust her. Enough said!”

About Mariola Grzeszczyk, NP

Mariola Grzeszczyk is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her bachelor's and master's of science in nursing at the Resurrection University in Chicago with a graduate program focus as a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive clinical experience in Women’s Health. Mentorship provided by Dr. Denise Furlong, whose passion and dedication in caring for her female population, shaped Mariola into a compassionate, enthusiastic and devoted provider as she is today.

Mariola came to the USA from Poland to study the English language and was given the opportunity to work at the medical office, where she developed a passion for nursing. Working along with amazing nurses, nurse practitioners, and doctors, she knew that her future was in the medical field. She was aware that it would be a long way to achieve what she had planned for herself – to become a nurse practitioner one day. Over the next few years, she was taking English classes and required prerequisite courses to enter nursing school. At the same time, she was raising her beautiful baby girl and worked multiple jobs that were closely related to the medical field and allowed her to pursue her dreams and provided financial support through undergraduate and graduate schools. After finishing her BSN, she became her career as a registered nurse at Amita Healthcare where she gained her experience and knowledge working in medical, surgical, telemetry, and emergency care departments. She loved caring for all of her patients, but her heart was always closed to women’s health. Being a woman and a mother helped her related and understand the female patients on a different level. Finally, after gaining valuable experience as a registered nurse, Mariola entered the graduate program at Resurrection University to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a Nurse Practitioner.

She enjoys a quiet, suburban life with her family and her adopted dog. She likes spending her free time with friends and family, reading books, watching movies, hiking, being in nature, traveling, and learning.

Her future professional goals include learning Spanish, obtaining certification in Integrative Medicine and working on Doctor of Nursing Practice in order to expand her knowledge, expertise, and qualifications to provide excellent and holistic care to her female patients.

About Dr. Maria Teresa Tam, MD

Dr. Teresa Tam of All for Women Healthcare in Chicago, Illinois, is a graduate of the Rosalind Franklin Chicago Medical School, where she received the Dean’s Award at her graduation (1994). She undertook her residency obstetrics and gynecology in 1994, at St. Joseph Hospital, completing the program in 1998. She is Board certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a fully licensed physician and surgeon by the State of Illinois (license no.: 036.093565).

Dr. Tam has been in private practice since 1998. She was the Associate Director of their Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program for 10 years. She is currently Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois; Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology, Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois; and an attending physician/surgeon at Advodate Illinois Masonic Medical Center and Ascension St Joseph Hospital in Chicago.

Along with her medical practice, Dr. Tam is also an accomplished medical researcher having been published in a number of professional medical journals. She is a noted presenter at national and international medical conferences having presented over two dozen oral presentations, abstracts, video, and poster presentations combined. To date, she has written over 13 published research papers and produced a series of medical education videos. She was awarded “Attending of the Year and received the “National Faculty Award“, an unprecedented seven times as an attending physician and Associate Director of the Ob/Gyne residency program at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, and as an attending physician and mentor at Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston.

In 2012, Dr. Tam took a sabbatical from her private practice to undertake a fellowship program in Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS) at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She left Chicago and moved to Hershey, PA for one year. There, she received advanced training in laparoscopic surgery and robotically-assisted surgery using the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System. During her fellowship, she performed hundreds of MIGS surgeries under the guidance of some of the top MIGS surgeons in the country. She completed her fellowship in June 2013 and returned to Chicago to start her new solo practice, “All for Women Healthcare, SC“,  which, as that time, was located in the Stone Building, in Chicago.

In February 2017, thanks to a growing demand for her medical expertise, Dr. Tam moved to a larger, completely new office in the Ascension Center for Advanced Care (ACAC) building located at 2845 N. Sheridan Road, Suite 902, in Chicago, just down the block from her old office in the Stone Building. The ACAC is a truly modern, state-of-the-art medical building having just been completed in 2015. Dr. Tam’s new office offers patients a beautiful waiting area and four new exam rooms. The ACAC also offers visitors and patients the convenience of valet or indoor self-parking, and even a pharmacy in the lobby.

In 2013, Dr. Tam and All for Women Healthcare received accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG), from the nationally recognized, Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), a nonprofit, patient safety organization. SRC accredits the top facilities, surgeons and medical professionals worldwide that meet our proven standards. An SRC accreditation helps patients identify providers that have met rigorous standards for delivering high-quality perioperative and long-term, follow-up care and distinguish them from those who have not. Insurance companies also use accreditation to identify those surgeons and facilities committed to excellence. Earning SRC’s COEMIG accreditation signifies an ability to consistently deliver the safest, highest-quality care to all patients. This COEMIG designation requires a rigorous screening process and has been successfully renewed for Dr Tam and her practice from 2013 to today.

In 2022, Dr Tam was also accredited with the "Master Surgeon of Excellence In Minimally Invasive Gynecology" from SRC.

The Master Surgeon of Excellence In Minimally Invasive Gynecology is a prestigious accreditation awarded to the top surgeons, physicians and medical professionals who are committed to establishing and maintaining a culture of excellence. This accreditation recognizes the surgeon, independent of the facility at which they practice.

Established in 2003, SRC is an internationally recognized, nonprofit, patient safety organization dedicated to recognizing and refining surgical care. SRC accredits the top hospitals, surgeons and health professionals worldwide that meet our proven standards. SRC’s gynecology accreditation program recognizes surgeons who demonstrate an unparalleled commitment and ability to consistently deliver safe, effective, evidence-based care. The program is structured to help providers continuously improve care quality and patient safety.

Besides medicine, Dr. Tam’s other passion is running… a lot of running! Over the past 20+ years, she has run in no less than 30 marathons (at 26.2 miles each!). She has completed full marathons all over the U.S. and the world including the Chicago Marathon (5 times, latest in October 2015), Las Vegas, Disney World, New York, Washington, DC, Rome, and Paris, just to name a few. She was featured in the news article, “50 Chicago Women in Sports“, appearing in Windy City Sports – Chicago’s Fitness & Recreation Guide Magazine, Chicago, Illinois, September, 1997. Dr. Tam fully understands the needs of female athletes and has helped many face special health challenges unique to their athletic lifestyle. It is no surprise that many of Dr. Tam’s patients are athletes, too. They love the fact that their doctor can identify with their unique needs as women athletes.

In all, Dr. Tam shows genuine understanding, concern, and compassion for all her patients. She takes the time to listen to their needs, as well as advise and educate them. As an accomplished clinician and minimally invasive gyne surgeon with over 20 years professional experience, together with her MIGS fellowship training, Dr. Tam brings an exceptionally high level of expertise and knowledge to her field, coupled with her warm and caring bedside manner for all her patients.

About Lindsey Syed, DNP, RN, WHNP-BC

Lindsey J. Syed, WHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at All for Women Healthcare in Chicago, Illinois.

Her journey began in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She continued her education at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, earning a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Women's Health with a groundbreaking project focused on HPV vaccine rates.

Lindsey's early career was rooted in long-term care, where she sharpened her skills in chronic and end-of-life care at various centers. She also developed keen judgment and honed an ability to assess residents' physical and emotional needs.

By 2016, she pivoted into obstetrics and gynecology, joining Valley Women for Women in Chandler, Arizona. For five years, Lindsey provided comprehensive care, from handling high-risk pregnancies to advising on contraception and family planning.

In December 2021, Lindsey took on a new challenge, the specialized realm of Gynecology and Oncology at the Arizona Center for Cancer Care (AZCCC), where she dealt with complex conditions like gynecological cancers and became proficient in managing treatment regimens for chemotherapy and immunotherapy patients.

Her expertise is noticed, and Lindsey received the APP Recognition Award for Patient Experience in May 2023.

Lindsey is an active member of several organizations, like the Society of Gynecology Oncology. She also took on the role of adjunct faculty and preceptor for aspiring WHNPs at ASU. Her scholarly contributions, including papers on Bladder Pain Syndrome and Von Willebrand Disease in Pregnancy, have found homes in prestigious medical journals.

With newly acquired licenses in Illinois, Lindsey aims to continue her mission — empowering women to lead healthy, balanced lives.

While her portfolio might read like an impressive list of accolades and positions, to Lindsey, it's a testament to her ongoing commitment to the well-being of women.
