To further his training, Dr. Abdelrahman completed his cardiac electrophysiology training at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. He was specially trained in advanced electrophysiology diagnostic and management techniques, including complex ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and robotic-assisted mapping and ablation. He also trained in complex device implantation, including biventricular devices, bundle pacing subcutaneous defibrillators, leadless pacemakers, and complex laser lead extraction.
Dr. Abdelrahman also actively participates in research and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has authored numerous manuscripts and abstracts and has presented in multiple national and international cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology meetings.

Kristine Sellberg, MD, FACC, is an accomplished and affable cardiologist. She’s a proud member of the team of renowned physicians at Phoenix Heart, which has five locations across the greater Phoenix area – Glendale, Goodyear, Anthem, Buckeye, and Black Canyon City, Arizona.
Dr. Sellberg earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. She finished her medical training in Phoenix with a residency in internal medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center and the Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center, where she completed a second fellowship in interventional cardiology. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology.
In addition to her practice at Phoenix Heart, Dr. Sellberg is quite active in the cardiology community. Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, Arizona, counts her as a member-at-large of their medical executive committee and a member of their professional review committee. She also serves as the medical director of cardiac rehabilitation at Abrazo West Campus hospital in Goodyear, Arizona. She’s also a member of the American Heart Association and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
