We call the Doctor, Dr. Bala. He is wonderful. He listens to you and assures you when needed. My husband had a pacemaker put in and it takes awhile to adjust to. So his careful attention to my husband has helped so much. Dr. BShow moreala is such an expert in his field. The office is run well and waiting time is very minimal. I highly recommend him.

Dr Balakrishnan was born and raised in Coimbatore, India. He completed his medical degree from Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital, India, and moved to the United States to pursue further medical training. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - South Campus and his Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowships at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson Campus hospitals. He is the recipient of several awards throughout his training, including outstanding performance in Cardiology and Electrophysiology, outstanding graduating fellow in Cardiology, and the Mark J. Friedman Outstanding Fellow Award. He also served as the chief fellow during his Cardiology fellowship at the University of Arizona. He has authored numerous publications in Cardiology and Electrophysiology and has presented at several national and international conferences.
Dr Balakrishnan joined the practice in 2024. He is trained in complex device implants, ablation of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and laser lead extractions.

Efficient and friendly and no hassle
Very professional, listens respectfully, explains things thoroughly.
He seemed very knowledgeable and very caring, answered questions and did not rush us and explained everything.
Outstanding
Dr.Balakrishnan is awesome and explains things well. Only thing off is there’s always an excess of office staff sitting doing nothing, each time I’ve been there is one person helping patients and at least two people watching or having personal convos sitting behind them. Haven’t seen this elsewhere, maybe they need an office manager to assign them duties/secondary tasks.
I thanked him during my last office visit, telling him, "Truly, what you did is as good as it gets. I couldn't have asked for more, from your consultations with me to the surgery."

My first visit with the Dr and was I very pleased . Dr was very thorough, listened and answered all my questions and concerns.
Dr Balakrishnan and his assistant were patient and took their time explaining my procedure and the meds I need to take before the surgery to contract my drug allergies. If I have any complaint at all it would be that the route to the Sun City office as laid out by my map app sent me around the back way through a kind of iffy area.
