My name is Ashlie Dumas. I got my bachelor's degree in nursing from Valdosta State University and my Master’s degree in Nursing in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I have been a nurse for over 10 years and a nurse practitioner for more than 5 years. My experience ranges from family medicine to urgent care to cardiac intensive care (inpatient and outpatient). Dr. Elain Tong was born in Pasadena, CA. Her interest in medicine began at a young age, after suffering multiple ankle injuries from years of dancing classical ballet. Her injuries were successfully treated by her father (Yee-Wing Tong, MD) with NBE therapy, or Neuro-Bioenergetics treatment, a therapy he developed combining western anesthetic nerve blocks and trigger point injections with acupuncture and the principles of Chinese medicine. This allowed her to continue dancing, performing, and competing with little downtime. When she was 15, her father taught her the NBE technique to help treat his own chronic illnesses. It was these experiences that led her to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Elain graduated from UCLA with a major in Psychobiology and a minor in Classical Civilization, and then went on to study Chinese Medicine for two years at Samra University in Los Angeles. Thomas Rambacher, DPM, FACFAS, FAPWCA, is a double board-certified surgeon and wound doctor at Foot Ankle Leg Wound Care Orange County in Mission Viejo, California. He is one of the few wound care specialists and podiatrists in the region who specializes in orthoplastics (flap reconstruction), limb salvage, and highly specialized wound care.
