At Superior Psychiatric Services in Newport Beach, California, Alexis Meshi, MD, offers personalized, integrative psychiatric care to people in Orange County and beyond.

In addition to in-office care for patients who live locally, the practice offers state-of-the-art telepsychiatry services for patients elsewhere in California.

Superior Psychiatric Services helps patients improve all aspects of their physical, mental, and emotional health with traditional psychiatric treatments. Those include medication and therapy, as well as innovative FDA-approved alternatives such as Spravato® and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Dr. Meshi often recommends brain health nutraceuticals to support overall brain health and function.

Dr. Meshi has a special interest in women’s health, including reproductive psychiatric conditions. She also provides customized treatment programs for anxiety, depression, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Beverly Hills Psychiatry is a premier psychiatry practice in Beverly Hills, California, led by double board-certified mental health specialist Joseph Gulino, M.D. He serves patients four-years-old and older in the comfortable settings of their own homes by providing telehealth appointments.

Dr. Gulino has nearly two decades of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children. He specializes in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, screen time “addiction,” and childhood misbehavior.

Double-board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and general adult psychiatry, Dr. Willison, treats patients of all ages at his private practice in Los Angeles. His approach to treatment includes a combination of medication management and psychotherapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy with exposure and response prevention for treatment of anxiety disorders.

Dr. Willison completed his early education at Moorestown Friends School, a private Quaker day school in Moorestown, New Jersey. He attended Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania for one year before transferring to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s of science degree in Course 7 (Biology).

Dr. Willison then relocated to attend the Medical Scientist Training Program at the University of California, San Francisco. At UCSF, Dr. Willison earned his PhD in cell biology in 2005 before completing his medical degree in 2008. He went on to complete his psychiatry residency, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship, at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012 and 2014, respectively.

In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, Dr. Willison is an attending psychiatrist at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center in the Anxiety Disorders Clinic and is the founding attending psychiatrist of its adult ADHD Clinic. Dr. Hayat is board certified in psychiatry and is an expert in the evaluation and treatment of mental health conditions. At Mental Health and Wellness Associates, Dr. Hayat performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, follow-up medication management, and psychotherapy. He is an expert in the use of telepsychiatry (Telehealth) to provide high-quality and top psychiatry care to patients from all over California.

At Mental Health and Wellness Associates, Dr. Hayat works with adults who are 18 years and older and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17. He enjoys working with those who have never seen a psychiatrist before and those who are seeking a second opinion or a new start to their care.

Dr. Hayat is fluent in Farsi/Dari, Hindi/Urdu, and Pashto. He is currently available to see patients in the State of California by secure telemedicine.

Dr. Matthew Goldenberg founded Mental Health and Wellness Associates to help increase access to high quality mental healthcare in California. Dr. Goldenberg found that patients seeking psychiatry and therapy often faced long wait times, full practices, and other barriers to getting the help that they need. He founded Mental Health and Wellness Associates to help make finding care easier. 

Dr. Goldenberg is a mental health and substance abuse expert. He is double board certified in general and addiction psychiatry. Accordingly, he has assembled a team of highly trained, highly experienced clinicians that use evidence-based and individualized treatment plans to support their patients’ unique needs and goals.

Konstantinos Tripodis, MD, is an exceptional psychiatrist at Foveo Healthcare A Professional Medical Corporation in Burbank, California. 

Specializing in Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry, Dr. Tripodis has over 36 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from the Centro De Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco-Campus Ensenada, Escuela De Medicina medical school in Mexico, before relocating to the United States to complete his internship and residency programs. 

Dr. Tripodis was lauded during his postgraduate studies, even being appointed chief resident. Through the prestigious San Fernando Valley Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Dr. Tripodis gained unique experience treating the diverse population of Los Angeles.

Wendi Sellers, MSN, PMHNP-BC will be joining our team! She is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Anita Red, MD in Pasadena, CA, who is licensed to treat individuals across the lifespan, from early childhood to end of life.

Wendi received her Master’s in nursing with a specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health from Western University of Health Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from UCLA.

After graduating from UCLA, Wendi began working for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, helping the homeless population manage a variety of mental health concerns.

During that time, she co-founded an innovative workforce reintegration program to help women with a mental health diagnosis re-enter the workforce.

Wendi has years of experience taking care of individuals in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her approach is to provide a space where her patients feel comfortable opening up, with the knowledge that they will be heard and never judged. She believes in educating her patients about all their options and helping them to find the one that works for them. Counseling and medication management are a collaboration. Mustafa Rehmani, DO, is an Adult, Adolescent, and Child Psychiatrist in private practice, providing excellent mental health services. 

Dr. Rehmani sees patients ages 4 to 64 years from the Anita Red, MD, office in Pasadena, California. Telehealth treatment can also be made available to patients in New York.

After completing biological sciences and economics undergraduate studies at The University of Rochester in New York, Dr. Rehmani earned a post-bach in religious studies and his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYIT) in Old Westbury. 

He underwent a year of residency training in family medicine before pursuing his passion in psychiatry. He completed a residency in adult psychiatry at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where he trained in the biopsychosocial model.

Dr. Rehmani came to Los Angeles to complete his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at LAC/USC Medical Center, where he served as chief fellow during his final year. He gained experience at some of the most prestigious hospitals, including the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He is currently an assistant clinical professor at USC's Keck School of Medicine.

Having trained in both the East and West Coasts, Dr. Rehmani has a wide range of experience with psychiatric illnesses affecting all age groups in multiple therapeutic settings.

Dr. Rehmani has been described by his patients as warm, empowering, easy to talk to, and someone who “just gets it.”  He is dedicated to helping patients realize their potential.

Clinical expertise includes child, adolescent, and adult general psychiatry. Yuvraj Grewal, MD, is a board-certified neurologist offering high-quality medical care at the Advanced Center for Neurology and Headache in Valencia, California. Dr. Grewal is committed to treating each patient as an individual and truly listening with a compassionate heart. He draws on his expertise and training to offer evidence-based, state-of-the-art medicine to serve each patient based on their unique diagnosis.

Dr. Grewal earned his medical degree in Portsmouth, Dominica, at Ross University School of Medicine, now located in Bridgetown, Barbados. He pursued medical training in the United States, completing an internship at United Health Services in Johnson City, New York. Dr. Grewal then relocated to Tucson, Arizona, for neurology training at the University of Arizona. While there, he served as chief resident. He later completed a fellowship in the subspecialty of clinical neurophysiology, with an emphasis on epilepsy and nerve conduction studies.

Today, Dr. Grewal uses his extensive training to provide care to patients experiencing dementia, strokes, migraines, headaches, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological conditions. He maintains memberships in the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

Salisu Aikoye, MD, is a double board-certified adult psychiatrist. At Sal Psychiatry Services, located in Norwalk, California, they adhere to strict controlled substance protocol.

Dr. Salisu attended medical school at the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and completed his psychiatry residency at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Nigeria. Dr. Salisu then completed a psychiatry residency at Central Michigan University, Saginaw, and completed his psychiatry fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles/VA.

Dr. Salisu also obtained a master’s in public health at the University of Southern California with a special interest in global mental health.

Ananya Sreepathi, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with years of experience, practicing at Healthy Mind Psychiatry located in Valencia, California. His mission is to provide holistic, integrative care to individuals living in Santa Clarita and throughout Los Angeles County. 

Dr. Sreepathi grew up in nearby Granada Hills, and he feels privileged to serve his hometown. He attended UC Santa Barbara before earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George's University. During medical school, he developed a love of behavioral sciences and the link between biology, neurochemistry, and behavior. He then completed an exceptional residency program at New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, New Jersey. There, he learned to evaluate and treat nearly every psychiatric condition, as the hospital is a hub for mental health treatment.

In June 2020, Dr. Sreepathi returned home to Southern California, recognizing that there is a great need for more mental health treatment in the community as many people go through life untreated due to a lack of access to care. His goal in starting Healthy Mind Psychiatry is to make mental health care more accessible to people in the community and help them lead happier lives as a result. 

What makes Dr. Sreepathi unique is that he utilizes a multidisciplinary approach when treating each patient. He considers a multitude of variables and tailors treatment accordingly.
