She combines medication management and individual therapy in such a way that it allows patients and family to feel heard, validated and comfortable in a non-judgmental space. I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who received her Master’s degree in nursing from Maryville University. I have 15 years of nursing experience and a strong community and acute mental health nursing background. She has an interest in patients experiencing anxiety disorders, depression, sleep disorders, schizophrenia, ADHD, and bipolar spectrum disorders.
My goal as a provider is to provide holistic care by understanding individual culture, spiritual, social, and personal values that make us who we are. My treatment strategy includes utilizing evidence-based practice, collaboration, and creating an individualized plan that is unique to your needs and goals.

She has held and led in various positions in multiple organizations as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, her core belief and principle towards dispensing care to her patients over the years has always been to provide utmost care through a holistic approach. Monsurat believes that considering and respecting the patients’ culture, thoughts and beliefs is a huge part of delivering utmost care.

Services at HealthEast St. Joseph Hospital and he is the former Mental Health Director for Open Cities
Clinic. He holds the positions of Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Assistant Professor in the
Department of Family Practice at the University of Minnesota.

who was a nurse with the Veteran’s Administration in St. Louis, Missouri. Community service includes
participation in his church and providing direct psychiatric care of underserved populations.
Sonia is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Florida who has 11 years experience as a registered nurse and psychiatric mental health NP partnering with adults, and adolescents seeking help with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and many other mental health issues. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in 2012 and received her Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track from Florida International University.
Sonia utilizes holistic, relational, collaborative, research, and evidenced-based guideline approach to treatment always maintaining cultural diversity, creativity, flexibility and awareness necessary to best meet the needs of every unique individual.
