About Shannon Minnehan, CRNA, PMHNP-BC

I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 15 years experience in advanced practice nursing. I provide medication management, including ketamine therapy, and psychotherapy for a wide range of mental health issues. I enjoy working with children, teens and families/caregivers, as well as adults. I take a holistic, trauma informed, biopsychosocial approach to treatment for complex disorders as well as everyday stressors that may be hindering growth and enjoyment of life. I have special interest and additional training in eating disorder/body image issues, psychedelic therapy, PTSD, LGBTQIA+ health and caregiver stress/burnout. I approach all care through a culturally specific, gender and body affirming (Health at Every Size) framework. I believe in building genuine, supportive relationships with clients. I welcome clients to show up as they are. Life is often messy, complex and lonely. Reaching out can be difficult, and it may be the missing piece to recovery.
