Ananya Sreepathi, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist practicing at Healthy Mind Psychiatry in Valencia, California. His mission is to provide holistic, integrative care to individuals and families living in Santa Clarita and throughout Los Angeles County.
Dr. Sreepathi grew up in nearby Granada Hills, and he feels privileged to serve his hometown community. He attended UC Santa Barbara before earning his Doctor of Medicine at St. George's University School of Medicine. During medical school, he developed a deep interest in behavioral sciences and the connections between biology, neurochemistry, and human behavior.
He completed his psychiatry residency at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, New Jersey one of the largest mental health training hubs in the region where he gained extensive experience evaluating and treating the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and consultation settings.
Following residency, Dr. Sreepathi served as an attending psychiatrist at Overlook Medical Center in New Jersey, where he continued developing his expertise in acute and community psychiatric care. He later returned home to California, where he provided psychiatric care at a correctional facility in Tehachapi an experience that deepened his commitment to serving populations with limited access to mental health care and shaped the philosophy behind his own practice.
In 2020, Dr. Sreepathi founded Healthy Mind Psychiatry in Santa Clarita with a clear mission: to make thoughtful, personalized psychiatric care accessible to the community he calls home. Too many people, he observed, go through life untreated simply because care is out of reach and he set out to change that.
What sets Dr. Sreepathi apart is his multidisciplinary, whole-person approach. He considers each patient's unique biology, history, relationships, and goals when designing a treatment plan drawing from psychotherapy, medication management, TMS therapy, Spravato, and lifestyle-based interventions as appropriate.
While Dr. Sreepathi has particular clinical interests in treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-related disorders, there is little within the scope of mental health care he is uncomfortable treating.

Dr. Sreepathi listened and seemed empathetic and knowledgeable. He did not push medications on me, as I am reluctant to medicate, but instead made his educated suggestions and left it in my hands to decide. I’ve only seen him once but he seems like a good dr to have on your side.

After a near catastrophe with the first Doctor we tried here in California, Doctor Sreepathi has been a God send. My Brother’s medications (for schizophrenia no less) had been incorrectly prescribed multiple times by the previous Doctor and we were running out of his previous supply very quickly. I was in a state of panic. That is when we found Dr. Sreepathi, and he immediately saved us. My Brother likes him even more than his previous Doctor of 25 years.
