Before becoming part of the practice of Dr. Jose F. De Leon, M.D., P.A., caring for patients in Irving and Dallas, Texas, Dr. Phuong Nguyen-Luu began pursuit of her medical career as an undergraduate chemistry major at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. She graduated with honors and continued on to earn her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. From there, Dr. Nguyen-Luu ventured to California where she completed her OB/GYN internship at the University of California, Los Angeles, David Geffen School of Medicine.

Luis DeLeon Usuga, MD, is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology specialist and founder of Dr. DeLeon's Woman's Health Care, a wellness and obstetrics center in Rowlett, a northeastern suburb of Dallas, Texas. Dr. DeLeon began his journey to his medical career more than three decades ago in Medellin, Colombia, at the University of Antioquia, where he earned his medical degree and received surgical training, graduating with honors. Practicing at OB-GYN North Dallas, Dr. Robins provides expert gynecology services for women of all ages, treating conditions like fibroids and endometriosis.

He is also very experienced in guiding women through healthy pregnancies, including high risk and multiple gestations. Dr. Robins also provides customized hormone replacement therapy to help women through menopause, and when necessary offers laparoscopic and robotic surgeries, including hysterectomies, to protect your health and well-being.

Before earning his medical degree and serving his internships at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Dr. Robins received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He went on complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Robins is a Dallas native and has been married for 29 years. He and his wife have two daughters and a grandson. He’s active in his community and sponsors Hope Works, a local golf tournament for women with breast cancer. You can count on Dr. Robins for compassionate, friendly, and knowledgeable gynecologic care at every stage of your life.

Dr. Odette Limosnero believes that integrative medicine is the best path to true health. While most physicians treat only symptoms and disease, she strives to truly understand why the symptoms are occurring in the first place. She aims to treat her patients in the most natural, least harmful way possible, and only if needed resorts to prescription medications and surgery.

Dr. Limosnero struggled personally with skin and digestive issues, weight loss, and infertility. A regular yoga practice is what opened up her eyes to a new way of looking at health and how our physical bodies are connected to our mind and soul. Food was no longer just calories but a source of nourishment and vital energy. This approach to her own health was what helped her the most, and she now lives a healthier lifestyle and has two beautiful, healthy children.

In July 2015, she opened Roots Integrative Gynecology in Carrolton TX, 75010, to help other women benefit from a more holistic approach to women’s wellness and health care—the same type of holistic care that she found so helpful in her own life. She takes the time necessary to uncover and treat the underlying causes of women’s symptoms using methods learned in her fellowship in Integrative Medicine as well as the foundation of traditional medicine.

Dr. Limosnero grew up in San Francisco Bay Area. She went on to obtain her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of California at Davis. In 2000 she moved to Texas for residency training at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Then in 2013 completed her fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine where she was trained under the guidance of Dr. Andrew Weil and Dr. Tieraona Low Dog. She found that several of the modalities were also helping in her own struggle with infertility.  She went on to pursue further training in acupuncture and Chinese Traditional Medicine, attended ayurvedic medicine workshops, and completed a yoga teacher training program under Sloane Park.  After almost 11 years in general obstetrics and gynecology practice, she decided to follow her calling and passion and Roots Integrative Gynecology came to fruition. Most recently, Dr. Limosnero has been Board Certified in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Integrative Medicine. She enjoys spending time with her husband Robert, her two amazing sons Noah and Xander, cooking, practicing yoga, walking, spending time in nature, and practicing mindfulness.
