Joan Bergstrom, MD, FACOG, MBA, is the founder of Women’s Health Services. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Bergstrom was the first female OB/GYN to serve the Arlington and Grand Prairie, Texas, communities. Dr. Bergstrom delivers excellent care for women at all stages of life with compassion, warmth, and respect.
Patients trust Dr. Bergstrom for the treatment of a range of conditions, including uterine fibroids and polyps, urinary incontinence, abnormal bleeding, vaginal and uterine prolapse, and more. An expert gynecologic surgeon, she is skilled at a wide range of surgical procedures, such as vaginal hysterectomies, vaginal prolapse repairs, and bladder suspensions
Dr. Bergstrom went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. In 2012, she became the first woman to serve as chief of staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington.
Dr. Bergstrom is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and she is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking for her family and playing Scrabble with her daughters.

Arrived a few minutes late for my well woman visit. Office is clean and nicely lit. Staff is friendly and caring. Wait time was minimal (<5minutes). Dr. Bergstrom is professional, warm and friendly.

I have seen Dr.Berstrom For 26 years and would not trust my Women’s health with anyone else! She also birthed all of my children and has excellent bedside manners. She truly cares about each and every patient and listens to any concerns you may have.
