Dr. Leon E. Brown is a private practice dermatologist in Takoma Park, Maryland. Ali Hendi, MD, is a widely recognized skin cancer specialist who has been caring for patients in the Washington, DC area for over a decade. Joy Kunishige is a native of Chicago. She was a National Merit Scholar and All-American Cheerleader. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Microbiology and Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Florida in Gainesville. In 2003, she completed the accelerated Medical Honors Program and received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida. Dr. Kunishige was recognized as Florida’s Top Medical Student by the Florida Medical Political Action Committee, where she served as the only student delegate. Dr. Kunishige did research in Cutaneous Lymphoma and was Chief Resident during her dermatology residency at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center & the University of Texas in Houston. She pursued her fellowship in Mohs Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, under the direction of Drs. John Zitelli & David Brodland. Stephen Suah, MD, MS, is a skilled dermatologist serving the community of Washington, DC, at Foxhall Dermatology.

Dr. Alison Ehrlich, a board certified dermatologist, is the former founding Chair and Director of Clinical Research in the Department of Dermatology at The George Washington University. After many years in academic medicine, she is now establishing her private practice in the Washington D.C area, but continuing to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic contact dermatitis and psoriasis, as well as cosmetic dermatology. Following her residency in Dermatology, she completed a fellowship in Clinical Research and Masters in Clinical Research through a combined NIH/Duke program. Dr. Meltzer received his medical degree with honors at Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington DC, and trained in Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. After fellowship training in immunology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Meltzer joined the staff of the National Cancer Institute to conduct research on immune responses to cancer and infectious disease. Dermatology training was at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington DC where Dr. Meltzer remained on hospital staff as the U.S. Army equivalent to university full professor and continued research on infectious disease (with focus on HIV and AIDS) and defense against biological warfare as Chief, Department of Cellular Immunology, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research.

He has authored more than 250 medical articles, was elected to editorial boards of several scientific journals, and served as scientific advisor to the American Cancer Society. Dr. Meltzer also served as member of scientific advisory boards in several pharmaceutical companies.

Dr. Omolara Olowoyeye, MD, MPH, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist at Radiance Dermatology, a premier cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology practice in Bethesda, Maryland.
