About Dr. Rieders
Peninsula Integrative Cardiology provides cutting-edge therapies to cardiology patients in Palo Alto, California. With more than four decades of clinical medicine and cardiology experience, Daniel Rieders, MD, FACC, FHRS, CCDS, IFMCP, uses scientific approaches combined with spiritual medicine to treat the whole health of every patient.
Dr. Rieders is a triple-board-certified cardiologist with distinction in moving his patients from disease to health. He graduated from UC Santa Barbara in molecular biology and received his medical degree fromtheUniversity of Southern California in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Rieders completed his cardiology fellowship at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, formerly the UCLA-VA Medical Center. He has practiced for over three decades in both private clinics and as a faculty member at USC Cardiology.
A decade ago, Dr. Rieders explored the connection between the six different types of health; our physical, financial, mental, emotional, and spiritual health and the health of all our relationships health. While leaving a patient’s financial health to their financial advisor and their mental, psychological, emotional health, and the health of their relationships to the psychologists and psychiatrists, Dr. Rieders decided to focus on the connection between mind, body, and spirit. His purpose of healing people by integrating one’s physical and spiritual health has now become his new passion.
At Peninsula Integrative Cardiology, Dr. Rieders emphasizes the importance of listening deeply to every patient and customizes treatment according to the needs of their mind, body, and soul. The practice combines ancient wisdom, traditional medicine, and the latest in science when helping patients.
Patients seek out the expertise offered at Peninsula Integrative Cardiology to support their cardiology needs and address symptoms like fatigue or obesity. Peptide therapy and ketamine therapy are also part of Dr. Rieders’ treatment offerings.
Dr. Rieders begins the healing process by first developing a relationship with each patient that hopefully gains their trust, so he can better understand their needs while partnering with them in developing solutions that solve their problems and regain both their physical and spiritual well-being.
