Dr. Bella Worman was originally born in Tbilisi, Georgia and moved to Chicago when she was 7. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago before earning her podiatric medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed an extensive surgical residency in Detroit, Michigan with a focus on surgical treatment of the foot and ankle, which she is currently board certified in. Dr. Bella enjoys all aspects of podiatry and has a focus on extensive complicated surgical procedures and is currently on staff at several local hospitals and surgery centers. Dr. Bella is fluent in Russian as well.
Like her husband, Dr. Bella enjoys time with their two sons and when she isn’t working, can most always be found spending time at their sporting events!

Paul G. Yungst, DPM, DABFAS, is a highly skilled podiatrist serving patients at Sarasota Foot Care Center. He provides personalized care and treatment for a variety of foot and ankle conditions at the practice’s two locations in Sarasota, Florida.
Dr. Yungst graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, on a basketball scholarship. He then earned his medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City before completing a podiatric surgical residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pennsylvania.
He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Yungst has been practicing podiatry in Sarasota since 1982 and has published numerous podiatric research papers. He specializes in the treatment of plantar fasciitis and bunion surgery. He has served as the podiatric medical consultant for MD Logic, a leading provider of worldwide electronic medical records since 1997, and is the author of its podiatric knowledge base.
Robert Frimmel, DPM, DABFAS, is a compassionate podiatrist at Sarasota Foot Care Center. He is proud to provide a wide range of foot and ankle services to patients at the practice’s two locations in Sarasota, Florida.
Dr. Frimmel is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine) then went on to complete a podiatric surgical residency in Fort Worth, Texas. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in orthopedics and biomechanics in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. He served as president of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association and Manasota Podiatric Medical Association. On the national level, he has served as chair of the Annual Scientific Meeting for the American Podiatric Medical Association. As a member of the Sarasota County Medical Society, he is on the governing board.
Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Frimmel is enjoys running, sailing, cooking and brewing beer. He completed many marathons, including those in Boston and New York, and the challenging course at Pike's Peak in Colorado. Being active and involved in the community are also high priorities for him.
Craig Conti, DPM, DABFAS, MS, is an experienced podiatrist at Sarasota Foot Care Center, with two convenient locations in Sarasota, Florida. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Conti graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a double major consisting of microbiology and chemistry. He earned his medical degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida where he was Valedictorian. He then completed his podiatric surgical residency at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he was elected Chief Resident.
He joined Sarasota Foot Care Center in 2006 and often represents the practice at educational lectures and community events. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Florida Podiatric Medical Association, and Manasota Podiatric Medical Association.
When he is away from the office, Dr. Conti enjoys exercising, doing martial arts, reading, and traveling with his wife. Dr. Conti is a member of Mensa, a forum for intellectual exchange.
Candice A. Kepich, DPM, DABFAS, is a dedicated podiatrist at Sarasota Foot Care Center. She currently sees patients at the practice’s two convenient locations in Sarasota, Florida.
Dr. Kepich is originally from Scranton, Pennsylvania. After graduating summa cum laude from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in biology, she moved to Philadelphia. She became interested in podiatry after her own experience as a patient of a podiatrist in her hometown. The combination of surgery, office procedures, sports medicine, and diabetic foot care opened her eyes to a career in podiatric medicine and surgery.
She earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2008. While there, she served as Vice President of the Stirling Hartford Anatomical Honor Society. Dr. Kepich then completed a three-year podiatric medicine and surgical residency at Mercy Suburban Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. Following residency, she moved to Sarasota with her husband, also a physician.
Dr. Kepich is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Florida Podiatric Medical Association.
Her professional interests include diabetes education, sports medicine, wound care, surgical and nonsurgical treatments of foot and ankle pathology, and pediatrics.
Her personal interests include spending time with her husband, son, and daughter, boating, paddleboarding, and enjoying the outdoors in Florida and at their family cabin in Wyoming.
Dr. Cottom received his bachelor’s degree with honors from Michigan State University. In 2002 he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Scholl College / Finch University, in Chicago, Illinois. Subsequently, he completed a three-year surgical residency in reconstructive and trauma surgery of the foot and ankle at the Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University, in Detroit, Michigan focusing in all areas of Foot, Ankle, and Leg Surgery. Dr. Cottom is also extensively trained in the conservative and surgical treatment of diabetic conditions affecting the lower extremity including limb salvage.
Dr. Cottom is honored to be one of only a few podiatric surgeons in the United States and the only in the state of Florida that has completed a 12 month surgical fellowship at the prestigious Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Columbus, Ohio. This is a unique fellowship that trains both Podiatric and Orthopedic Surgeons. This advanced surgical training focused on foot and ankle trauma, reconstruction as well as total ankle replacement. This was completed in Columbus, Ohio under the direction of Gregory Berlet MD, Thomas Lee MD and Terrence Philbin DO and was affiliated with The Ohio State University. This is the same type of fellowship that MD/DO orthopedic surgeons complete if they wish to sub-specialize in the foot and ankle. In 2005 he completed an AO International Trauma and Reconstructive Foot and Leg Fellowship under the direction of Dr. Sigvard Hansen MD in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Cottom also completed a Fellowship in Kurgan, Russia focusing on the Ilizarov technique for correction of acute trauma and complex deformities of the lower extremity in both adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Cottom is currently the only Fellowship Trained Foot and Ankle Surgeon in the region who is trained on 10 FDA approved Total Ankle Replacements. Not every patient is a candidate for this type of treatment. During a short visit in the office all options can be explored.
Dr. Cottom has authored numerous publications in the area of Foot, Ankle, and Leg surgery and has won research awards both at the state and national levels for his work. He is very active in lecturing as well as in teaching the latest surgical procedures to other surgeons. He is a devoted patient advocate who strongly believes that the quality of education and training make a difference in treatment outcomes. Dr. Cottom is a member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons which helps deliver superior continuing medical education to foot and ankle surgeons in the United States. He also serves as the Fellowship Director of the Florida Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center 12-month Foot and Ankle Fellowship. A native of Michigan, Cottom now lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife Devin and daughter Rowan.

Dr. Badell received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University in 2013 where he was recognized as an academic founder’s scholar. He then went on to complete a master’s degree in biomedical science where he finished in the top of his class. Dr. Badell then attended Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago and earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine and surgery. He then went on to complete a comprehensive three-year trauma, reconstructive, and elective foot and ankle surgery residency at Community Health Network in Indianapolis. While in residency, Dr. Badell was exposed to a wide variety of surgical techniques throughout the lower extremity including trauma, arthritis care, deformity correction and reconstruction, peripheral nerve surgery, and limb salvage among many others.
Dr. Badell has also been involved in several research activities from his undergraduate education in psychology continuing into the present day. He has published in national journals, as well as presenting at both national and regional academic conferences.

Garrett Harte, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and foot surgeon. Dr. Harte joined Cortez Foot & Ankle Specialists in 1998 after practicing in the Fort Myers area and currently sees patients at their main office in Bradenton and in Ellenton, Florida. His philosophy is to treat all his patients as if they were part of his own family and give them the best care he can at all times.
Dr. Harte received his Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and received his doctorate at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his two-year surgical residency at West Jersey Health Systems and Wound Care Center in Camden, New Jersey. During his residency, he volunteered his time with a team of fellow surgeons in Guatemala to perform reconstructive foot and ankle surgery on children. He found his mission, and pediatrics as a whole, very rewarding.
He was past chair of the credentials committee at Manatee Memorial Hospital and on the executive board.
Dr. Harte completed the Florida Ironman in 2009 and enjoys treating fellow athletes. His wife, Christine, is a personal trainer here in Manatee County. He spends most of his free time with his three grown children – Jonathan, Patrick, and Kaylee.

Dr. Boss is originally from a small town called Warren, Ohio. She graduated from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania, and then earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. While attending, she became very active in professional memberships and organizations and even held roles of leadership, including the title of National President of Student National Podiatric Medical Association. After obtaining her degree, she then completed an extensive four-year podiatric medical and surgical residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Miami, Florida, and New York-Presbyterian Queens in New York City. While there, she was exposed to multiple facets of podiatry, including elective forefoot and rearfoot surgery, trauma cases at a Level-1 Trauma Center, as well as office and clinical training.
Aside from her podiatric residency, Dr. Boss loves to continue improving her surgical skills and furthering her medical knowledge. She has attended many lectures and courses, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgical conferences, Arthroscopy Skills Courses, Limb Deformity Courses with Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and a mini-fellowship in Dermatopathology with Bako Laboratories.
