“I was very pleased with Dx Waldrops work. Got a look at the X-ray today two weeks out from surgery and was impressed with the alignment of the mating parts, top and bottom as well as how well they were anchored to their mating surfaces(tibia & femur). My mistake was not taking my BP meds several days leading up to surgery. This resulted in an additional day in the hospital due to elevated levels coming out of surgery(200/100). After I was discharged however, the Dx who discharged me forgot to date the pain script. I wended up settling for Tylenol 3due to the fact that the prescription for the stronger meds couldn't be processed that day 3/16. My PT therapist came by Monday for the 1st visit at home. I wasn't able to get the originally prescribed pain meds until after the third session resulting in not being able to attain my goal of 90°flexion at the affected knee. Anyway here at the end of the second week I'm still @70°. Starting outpatient therapy next week to increase range of motion.”
