I am a 65 year old female diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2015 after being an athlete my whole life. I had to give up running, my best friend. I started going to the Y and hired a trainer to keep me in shape which is paramount in hoShow morelding my Parkinsons at bay. After never ever having knee problems. I sustained a torn meniscus while exercising but was ignored by an orthopedic doctor as just arthritis pain.After a year of suffering and deterioration of my physical state trying to fight Parkinsond, Dr. Fenkell was a bright light at the most dark time. Although there are no easy solutions, Dr. Fenkell has given me hope that with his guidance the path to recovery for my knee is possible. I've never met a Doctor more focused on his patient. After almost an hour of uninterrupted consult, I left his office confident that I was in the best hands possible. He gained my trust when I was most skeptical. He is a rare find in today's world.
My interaction and treatment with Dr. Fenkell has been very good. My only problem has been with support staff that seems to be a bit distracted. Staff seems to be too busy to acknowledge that I have arrived for appointment even Show moreafter ringing “door bell” and standing there waiting to speak to someone. After 45 minutes waiting to see doctor, it was only after I again went up to counter that she seemed to remember that I was even there. I understand that emergencies can occur but it would help to have staff inform you of a longer period to wait to see doctor.

My first visit with Dr. Fenkell, I found him to be thorough & pleasant. I was a patient of Dr. Biddinger for many years so I was a little nervous meeting the new doctor….
Dr. Fenkell takes the time to explain my condition and answer respectfully all my concerns. He is patient and an asset to the medical profession.

Dr. Blake is very personable and professional. He takes the time to talk to you and listens to what you have to say. Since I have been seen at the office my knees are 90% better. The continue care he has provided has given me by mobility back so that I can do so much more than I ever could before. I will be a long-time patient! Dr Fenkell was very attentive and thorough.....he listened to my explanation of the pain I was experiencing periodically ....explained my condition and showed me my ex ray as he did. My physical exam was thorough but gentle with feedback. Finally Dr Fenkell took as much time as I needed answering all my questions until I felt every thing had been covered. Very, very pleased with my visit. Office staff were friendly and helpful also.
