Dr. Bloomstein offers both surgical and non-surgical options for foot and ankle issues such as bunions, hammertoes, ankle sprains, arthritis, flatfoot, and Achilles tendon pain. In addition to his interest in foot and ankle orthopaedics.
Dr. Bloomstein specializes in the management of fractures upper and lower extremities. He is focused on both nonoperative and operative treatments and helping patients achieve an improved level of function and restore independence following an injury.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a fellow of the American board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, The Orthopaedic Trauma Association and the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society.
Robert Borzio, MD, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in computer-navigated, minimally invasive anterior approach total hip and knee replacements and revisions. Dr. Borzio grew up in the Middletown area and earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School Rutgers, where he graduated in the 1st quintile with the distinction of acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He went on to specialize in hip and knee replacement with a fellowship in adult reconstruction at New York University and Insall Scott Kelly® Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon Anthony J. Costa, MD, brings surgical proficiency and a flexible, patient-driven approach to his treatment at Orthocenter, which has three locations in Red Bank, Morganville, and Marlboro Township, New Jersey. In addition to general orthopaedic care, he specializes in adult joint replacement, with a focus on hip and knee disorders and trauma of the lower extremities.
Dr. Costa earned his bachelor’s degree and graduated with honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He went on to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark for his medical degree, and stayed there for his residency, also specializing in orthopaedic surgery. Furthering his desire to specialize, he completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute before moving back to New Jersey to practice.
Dr. Costa sees his responsibility as a surgeon extending beyond the office. He is the director of the Joint Replacement Center of Excellence at Riverview Medical Center and frequently lectures about living with arthritis and the treatment options available to those who suffer from it.

Steven Friedel, MD, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, specializes in both orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. He brings a record of awards and recognition to people in New Jersey at Orthocenter, which has three locations in Red Bank, Morganville, and Marlboro Township, New Jersey. Before coming to Orthocenter, Dr. Friedel boasted an impressive career as a medical orthopaedic surgeon in the United States Army. Dr. Friedel completed his undergraduate degree at West Point, the United States Military Academy. He then studied at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Friedel performed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. He received his board certification in 1998.
Dr. Friedel’s work as an army surgeon has brought an array of awards, including the Bronze Star, the National Defense Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with oak leaf cluster, the Asian Campaign Ribbon with two oak leaf clusters, and the Combat Medic Badge.
Dr. Qasim M. Husain is a board certified orthopaedic spine surgeon at the Orthocenter, serving the Red Bank, Morganville, and Marlboro Township, New Jersey areas . He received advanced training in the surgical and non-surgical management of the entire range of spinal disorders from degenerative conditions to complex spinal deformity. He has also undergone training in minimally invasive techniques, such as 'micro' surgery and percutaneous instrumentation, to address a variety of spinal disorders.
Dr. Husain received his B.S. in Neurobiology from Cornell University and went on to SUNY Stony Brook for his medical education. There he graduated with an M.D. with Recognition in Research and stayed on-board to complete his Surgical Internship as well as his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. As a junior resident he received the "Outstanding Resident" of the year award, and was appointed as the Chief Administrative Resident in his final year.
Following residency, Dr. Husain was accepted to the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases to complete his fellowship training in Spine Surgery. There he was trained in the surgical and non-operative management of the full spectrum of spinal conditions by several of the pioneers in the field. Throughout his career, Dr. Husain has been actively involved in research and academics. He has multiple publications on a variety of topics related to spine surgery in peer-reviewed journals as well as textbooks.
