Dr. Eugene Stautberg, a native Houstonian, enjoys serving the community near his hometown in Pearland, TX, including Baytown and Sugar Land. As a medical student, he was recognized for his mastery of anatomy with the Gustave J. Noback Memorial award for advanced study and teaching in the field of anatomy.


Following medical school, Dr. Ihekweazu returned home to Houston and completed an orthopedic surgery residency program at Baylor College of Medicine. Throughout his residency, he was exposed to care in a variety of settings including Ben Taub General Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, the Shriners Hospital for Children, the Baylor-St. Luke’s Medical Center and Houston Methodist Hospital. In addition to these experiences, Dr. Ihekweazu completed a short-term AO Trauma Fellowship at the Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève in Geneva, Switzerland. 

After his residency training, he pursued a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction and Joint Replacement Surgery at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. During his fellowship, Dr. Ihekweazu was further trained in a variety of advanced joint replacement techniques, including, anterior and posterior hip replacements, hip resurfacing, total and partial knee replacements, robotic-assisted surgery and revision joint replacement surgery.  

Dr. Ihekweazu is devoted to the local community and enjoys teaching, mentoring and volunteering throughout the Houston area.  He believes in being conservative with his treatment recommendations and only recommends surgery when less-invasive treatments have failed. Dr. Lintner’s skills as a sports medicine physician have led him into the arena of professional sports, where he served as the Head Team Physician for the Houston Dynamo Major League Soccer team, the Head Team Physician for Lee College, and the physician for the 2009 World Baseball Classic. Dr. Lintner continues to serve as the Head Team Physician for the Houston Astros, as well as a Team Physician for the Houston Texans.

Dr. Lintner is the past President of the Major League Baseball Team Physicians Association, and a member of the Baseball Commissioner’s Medical Advisory Committee. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery and fellowship trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy. Dr. Bennett completed his sports medicine fellowship working as a team physician for multiple sports franchises including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Miami Hurricanes, Texas Southern University, and Florida International University. 

Dr. Bennett specializes in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, and knee disorders, ligament reconstruction, as well as cartilage repair and restoration.  He's had the honor of being selected by his peers as a Texas Super Doctor® for several years. His experience in treating a large number of cases in sports medicine helped earn him the distinguished Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine.

Wayne O. Alani, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon serving patients from in and around Sugar Land and Houston, Texas.
