Dr. Krassin is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in Cataracts, Glaucoma, lid surgeries, BOTOX, and has performed thousands of LASIK procedures!
He graduated from Loma Linda University Medical School and immediately began training in their ophthalmology residency program. He received extensive experience in refractive surgery at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA and graduated from residency ranked 9th in the country for refractive surgery volume as a primary resident surgeon.
In 2008, Dr. Krassin moved back to Minnesota and began working with a healthcare system in the metro. Within two years of practicing, he was elected as Lead Ophthalmologist and in 2012 was promoted to Medical Director of Refractive and LASIK surgery. Dr. Krassin became a partner with Southwest Eye Care in 2017. With the practice growing, Atlas Surgery Center was then established.
“Before my surgery while under anesthesia Dr Krassin discussed an antibiotic in the same family as one that caused me to have neuropathy. The Dr assured me that wouldn’t happen again. The next day I could hardly walk. The drug clearly caused my neuropathy to get worse. The Dr’s explanation was that it rarely happens. If I had not been under anesthesia while this was discussed I would have told him to absolutely not not used that antibiotic. Not happy about this at all!”
