Dr. Iacobellis, intimately referred to as “Dr. I” by his patients, is an Ivy League-trained dermatologist who — for almost 40 years — ran a successful private practice in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. He treated patients from all walks of life and from many different countries, often with a wide variety of esoteric diseases.
While running his private practice, Dr. Iacobellis held the position of Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Cornell University Medical Center, where he helped train elite residents. His teaching career was recognized by a Presidential Citation from the American Academy of Dermatology for excellence in resident education earlier this year.
Dr. Iacobellis has given over 500 academic lectures locally, nationally, and internationally at numerous medical meetings, hospitals, office presentations, and local dinner meetings on medications for psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, skin cancer, and aging. Ruben Moreno, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and board-certified Mohs surgeon at Florida Dermatology Associates with offices in Palm Bay, Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Cocoa, Titusville and Rockledge, Florida. He has several decades of dermatology experience, treating patients of all ages by improving the health and appearance of their skin.
Dr. Moreno was born in Bogota, Colombia, South America. He received his undergraduate degree in biology at St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, New Jersey, and completed medical school at State University of New York College of Medicine in Brooklyn, New York City.
He finished his medical training with an internship at New Jersey Medical College in Newark, New Jersey, and a residency at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Dermatology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Moreno maintains his medical credentials with continuing education to stay current with the latest advances in dermatology.
He is a member of numerous professional medical organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Society for Mohs surgery, and the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Moreno enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He warmly welcomes his patients to Florida Dermatology Associates and looks forward to exceeding their expectations.
