Denise Furlong, MD is committed to offering patient-centered care for women from puberty through menopause, providing each patient with the information and guidance they need about their health at every stage of life so they can feel confident in their care. The office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders on site, helping to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care as quickly as possible.
After earning her bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign, Dr. Furlong completed her medical degree, internship, and residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at Illinois Urogynecology, Ltd. Today, she is one of only a handful of surgeons to have achieved board certification in both obstetrics-gynecology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.

This was my first visit after my primary care provider was unable to locate my cervix to perform my Pap test. The doctor was extremely knowledgeable and immediately made me feel comfortable. She clearly explained her expertise and the procedure, which helped ease my concerns. She was friendly, compassionate, and very professional. I truly appreciated the care I received.
Dr Furlough reviewed test results and provided extremely thorough discussion of all aspects of my health concerns, including recommended supplements that will help counter effects of other prescription meds that I’m currently taking.
Dr. Furlong is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She really takes time to listen to your concerns. I love that she researches and learns new advances to keeping her patients healthy!
Dr. Furlong was great. She was very personable and sympathetic to my challenges. However, the labs have been out for several days and I haven't heard anything back regarding follow up with medication or further instructions. I was, and still am, a bit disturbed by that as it seems I have an issue that needs follow up. Other than that, I would highly recommend Dr. Furlong.
Very professional and friendly care
Welcoming receptionist and no wait for the nurse to bring me into the room. She took note of answers I gave to a variety of questions. She let Dr Furlong know we were finished and the doctor came right into the room. Issues were discussed, exam was completed and suggestions from the doctor were given. Friendly and professional was Dr Furlong and staff. I left understanding all we had discussed. I felt Dr Furlong was very caring.

I asked for my prescription to go to advocate mail order but instead it went to Walgreens. That’s fine this time, but refills need to go through mail order
