I appreciated how Dr. Nash called after my appointment today to discuss my ultrasound results with me. I am older and menopausal women like myself are looking for providers who listen to their concerns and are interested in helpShow moreing them alleviate discomfort associated with menopause so they can have good quality of life. I feel Dr. Nash has been great about that, and today I recommended her to a friend who do not feel her provider does that.
During my visit, I really appreciated the excellent bedside manner that I received from Dr. Agrawal and the rest of the staff at Progressive Care. This really put me at ease, considering the circumstances of my visit. Also, as sooShow moren as my results were in, Dr. Agrawal didn’t hesitate to call me personally, since she knew I would be stressing. Now, that’s what I’m talking about, excellent patient (customer) service. Thank you, LaShan :)
Kate D. Nash, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist at Progressive Care for Women in downtown Chicago.
Dr. Nash is a native of Chicago and has been a part of the Northwestern University community for over 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and her medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, where she was Chief Resident. She is now an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Nash’s interests include uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and menopause. She is also a breast cancer survivor and has a special interest in the care of breast cancer survivors and women at high risk of breast cancer.
Outside of work, Dr. Nash enjoys staying active and cooking with her husband and two young boys.

Dr Chen is great! He delivered my first daughter. Now, he is both of my daughters gynecologist. Dr Chen is personable, compassionate, and he has the knowledge and experience you want your gynecologist to have. I am glad he has not retired yet so my daughters can hopefully have prenatal care with him when they have children.
