During my visit, I really appreciated the excellent bedside manner that I received from Dr. Agrawal and the rest of the staff at Progressive Care. This really put me at ease, considering the circumstances of my visit. Also, as sooShow moren as my results were in, Dr. Agrawal didn’t hesitate to call me personally, since she knew I would be stressing. Michele Hakimian, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist and co-founder at Progressive Care for Women in downtown Chicago. Dr. Hakimian brings over 20 years of experience to the practice.
Dr. Hakimian received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, where she was named Chief Resident. She is now an attending physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Hakimian has a special interest in the menopausal transition and abnormal uterine bleeding. She is an experienced minimally invasive surgeon, including in-office hysteroscopic polyp removal and endometrial ablation. She also has advanced training in spider vein treatments.
In her spare time, Dr. Hakimian enjoys Pilates, travel, and spending time with her husband and two children.

Love Dr Hakimian! She's extremely nice and takes her time in assuring all my concerns are addressed as well as asks me about things I may not even be thinking of to be certain I have no issues. Makes the experience comforting. Can't thank her enough!

Every step of the process, from scheduling through the exam, is efficient, warm, professional and informative. Dr. Haikimian is terrific- best gyne I've ever seen.
My experience is always great. The office staff is courteous & polite. Dr. Hakimian is thorough, take time to hear your concern, doesn't rush your visit but manages her time to maintain a timely schedule. Would definitely recommend family & friends.
The dr and staff was very attentive
Dr Chen is great! He delivered my first daughter. Now, he is both of my daughters gynecologist. Dr Chen is personable, compassionate, and he has the knowledge and experience you want your gynecologist to have. I am glad he has not retired yet so my daughters can hopefully have prenatal care with him when they have children.
I have been going to Dr. Haikimian for years and I’ve always found her and the facility top notch. I have no complaints. The staff is nice, it’s organized and clean and runs efficiently. I’ve never had a long wait and I’ve always felt very comfortable here.
Thoughtful, thorough and patient are what make Dr. Hakimian and her staff amazing.
