In the past, my experiences with Doctor Mendoza’s office have been very pleasant! The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. Setting appointments is easy and I love that I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. DShow moreuring my most recent appointment, the female dentist that saw me was incredibly rude and irritable. She scolded me for not feeling numb after a few minutes of injecting me and was upset that I could not open my mouth any wider. I will not be returning for future appointments with her.
My husbands elderly aunt was visiting from overseas and her crown had fallen out. Dr Mendoza was able to see her and fix her tooth the following day. Dr. Daniel B. Mendoza offers family-orientated, quality dentistry to residents of Redwood City, California. His love of the treatment side of dentistry has enabled him to serve the community for nearly 30 years at his practice, Daniel B. Mendoza & Associates. His proficiency in cosmetic dentistry is the reason for thousands of his patient’s beautiful smiles.
Before attending dental school, Dr. Mendoza graduated with honors from California State University in Fullerton. During his time in dental school, Dr. Mendoza served as a teacher’s aide.
In 1984, Dr. Mendoza graduated in the top 5% of his class at the University of California in San Francisco and became a member of the faculty. He’s been teaching and mentoring students for over 30 years. Dr. Mendoza teaches the art and science of dental morphology and occlusion, cosmetic dentistry, and restorative dentistry at UCSF’s Preventative and Restorative Dental Science department.
Dr. Mendoza also attained the position of Clinical Professor in the Department of Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences and lectured extensively on topics related to fixed prosthetics. He presently holds an appointment at UCSF as a Full Professor, Step 5.
Dr. Mendoza is the course director for both the crown and bridge curriculum and the dental morphology curriculum for which he wrote the textbook. He also helped create several courses aimed at providing dental professionals with the technique and material updates required to maintain an active dental license.
He has been an active member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society since his induction at graduation, and served as vice president in 2000 and president in 2001.
When he is not working, Dr. Mendoza loves to cycle, fly fish, and cook for his family.

I love coming here, they are so friendly and gentle.
Great front desk staff-very efficient and friendly. The dental hygienist was excellent, and Dr Mendoza was exactly what i wanted-a dentist who is conservative in approach…i didnt feel that there were any problems, and he did not elevate anything minor into a huge issue. Perfect dentistry practice
After 10 years of not seeing a dentist I finally found one that is honest and caring. The staff is amazing look forward to going every 6 months now.

I had a good experience during my visit, I was greeted warmly and the dental hygienist made me feel comfortable by talking about normal everyday things. That made me feel less nervous and was able to relax.

Nicest staff and easiest and effective cleaning
From the front desk to the medical staff, all were welcoming and kind. I have never been a fan of visiting the dentist's office but my experience at Daniel Mendoza & Associates was about as good as it could get. I'll be going back there for routine check-ups.

friendly people, very clean office, yet they are not too crazy about temperature checking. Other dentists make people wait outside long time and check temperature outside. But this place lets me walk in first and check temperature later, which I like it much better.
