Dr. Matin completed his undergraduate education at George Mason University and Virginia Commonwealth University. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. In addition, he shadowed Dr. Cyrus Akhbari in pediatric dentistry and training experiences at Pediatric Dental Care in Sterling, Virginia, and Northridge Dental Group in California. He also participated in implant training and is Invisalign certified.
Following his formal training, Dr. Matin worked in a variety of dentistry settings throughout California and Massachusetts where he provided dental care for adults and children.
Dr. Matin stays up to date on the latest advancements in the field of dentistry and he is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Education Association.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Matin spends his time volunteering for various organizations. He also enjoys cycling, photography, traveling, hiking, skiing, tennis, soccer, and swimming.

Arbi Aboolian, DMD, CDT, is a highly skilled general dentist at LA Dentists Group in Pasadena and Glendale, California. He holds additional training in all aspects of dental laboratory technology.
Dr. Aboolian is certified in IV sedation and routinely employs moderate IV sedation as a treatment option for both his surgical patients and his anxious patients, those who generally avoid dentistry out of fear. Having two degrees in both dental laboratory technology and dentistry, Dr. Aboolian is among a small number of dentists who are both dental technicians and dentists simultaneously. He coordinates between the dental office and the dental lab and specializes in lab-related procedures.
Dr. Aboolian has been in dentistry since 1998 when he started his dental laboratory technology training. He graduated from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Health Services in Tehran, Iran, as a certified dental technician. He worked in two high-quality crown and bridge dental laboratories focused on implant and fixed prostheses for 11 years.
Dr. Aboolian completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Northridge, and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. While attending dental school, Dr. Aboolian was awarded the “HANAU Best of the Best and Excellence in Prosthodontics Award.” In addition to his fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, Dr. Aboolian is a certified LANAP regenerative specialist. He is trained and certified with the latest technology in Invisalign – the invisible way to straighten teeth without braces.
Dr. Aboolian is very passionate about prosthodontics, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. He truly enjoys his job and spending time with his patients.
