A native Washingtonian, Dr. Morrison received his D.D.S. degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, graduating magna cum laude, in 1989. He received top honors in multiple dental specialties and was elected to three national honor societies. Dr. Morrison received the top designation of "Master" from the Academy of General Dentistry (M.A.G.D). This title is awarded to less than 1% of all general dentists nationwide, with Dr. Morrison as one of the youngest dentists to achieve such distinction. He has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years.
Dr Morrison comes from a strong family, dental tradition. He comes from a family of dentists where his dad served both in the Navy and as an esteemed DC dentist. His mother was a hygienist and his brother is a dentist in Ohio. Dr. Morrison is a father of seven children and this gift has strengthened his ability to work on patients of varying ages and abilities, from his youngest child to his mother. Dr. Abasin Safi began his academic career at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He subsequently obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine.
After several years of practicing general dentistry, Dr. Safi pursued advanced training in endodontics at Oregon Health & Science University. There, he completed a comprehensive residency program known for its strong surgical curriculum and evidence-based clinical approach.
Dr. Safi is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.
Dr. Duckett has been practicing dentistry since 1995. He is currently a faculty member of the Department of Removable Prosthodontics, Howard University College of Dentistry, where he has received numerous “Outstanding Clinical Teacher Awards” . He had successfully completed a comprehensive one-year Dental Implant training program at Howard University and served as a Program Director’s Assistant.
