Dr. Pehling is a featured expert in the local and national media. Dr. Pehling was the first dentist in the Northwest trained in the use of the Biomet Ultrathin TMJ Arthroscope and the use of Botox® injections for the treatment of bruxism and jaw and facial pain. In his over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Pehling has placed over 6000 functional oral appliances.
Dr. Pehling has had numerous publications, research grants and awards, including multiple years as the Best Dentist Seattle Magazine Award, and the Best Dentist Seattle Metropolitan Magazine Award.
Active in his field, Dr. Pehling is a fellow of several prestigious organizations, such as the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain. Dr. Ghorbani is a board-certified biological dentist by both the International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
