Rimma Sheshelovskaya, DDS, is a highly skilled dentist with extensive experience in all aspects of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Sheshelovskaya graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in New York City where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Originally trained as a plastic surgeon at Moscow Medical Stomatological University in Russia, Dr. Sheshelovskaya has a unique eye towards facial proportion and cosmetics.

Meet Dr. Schraner

Dr. Schraner was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She moved to New York City to attend NYU for both undergraduate and dental school. She has participated in dental outreach programs and was awarded honors in esthetic dentistry. After graduation, she completed her general practice residency at Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn, where she treated children, adults and special needs patients. Dr. Schraner has been practicing dentistry in Manhattan for the past 7 years.

Dr. Toccafondi is a graduate of Edgemont High School, Fordham University, and Georgetown Dental School. He is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, New York Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Association, and is a past president of the Yonkers Dental Society. He is committed to continuing education, and excellence in dentistry and has taken over 1,000 hours of continuing education. He has been treating families in Westchester for over 30 years. Dr. Toccafondi has a wife, two children, and enjoys skiing, running, and traveling.

Shay Markovitch, DDS, is an Israeli-born dentist at Dental Arts of Hastings-on-Hudson in New York. He is a firm believer in sharing as much information as possible with his patients and encouraging them to make informed decisions throughout their care. With a comprehensive list of skills and services, Dr. Markovitch helps patients achieve gorgeous smiles and impeccable oral health.

Dr. Markovitch began training in cosmetic dentistry over two decades ago in his home country. After excelling in his dental education, he moved to Rochester, New York, where he completed dental school at the University of Rochester. He also completed residency training at Eastman Dental Center, also in Rochester, New York. 

At Dental Arts of Hastings-on-Hudson, Dr. Markovitch continues to learn the latest information and techniques in dentistry in order to utilize them to his patients’ advantages. He continues to attend courses to revamp his repertoire, including certifications in providing Invisalign® and Lumineers® veneers. He offers services like periodontics, implants, and crowns at Dental Arts of Hastings-on-Hudson as well as other practices in the city.

When he isn’t sitting next to the dental chair coaching patients about their oral health or performing meticulous procedures, Dr. Markovitch spends his free time with his wife and three children. He stays in shape with soccer, basketball, and any other sport that fits his busy schedule.

Yuriy Normatov, DDS, is an accomplished dentist at Central Avenue Dental in Valley Steam and Manhattan, NY.

Dr. Normatov graduated from New York University at the top of his class with honors. He then completed extensive training in restorative dentistry, endodontics, and the newest implant technology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull. Dr. Normatov was hand-picked by the director of the hospital to master the art of implant therapy. He was given rigorous cases and was able to meet all the patients’ needs and expectations while providing a smile to all.

He is very gentle and caring and goes above and beyond for his patients. He provides a comfortable environment and listens to any concerns patients may have. Dr. Normatov is a firm believer in evidence-based dentistry and stays up-to-date on the most recent technology in dentistry.

Alevtina Edgar, DDS, is an experienced dentist at Central Avenue Dental in Valley Steam and Manhattan, NY.

The doctor received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. She then pursued a general practice residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, followed by an internship at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens. 

While in private practice, the doctor continued to advance her education and is now certified in Invisalign® treatment as well as treatment of obstructive sleep apnea. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the New York State Dental Association.

Igor Ilyabayev, DDS, is a highly skilled dentist at Central Avenue Dental in Valley Steam and Manhattan, NY.

Dr. Ilyabayev graduated from St. John’s University in Queens, New York, with his undergraduate degree and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. He then completed a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Queens, which gave him an extensive year of training in general dentistry.

In his efforts to continuously further his knowledge in the evolving and progressive field of dentistry, Dr. Ilyabayev takes numerous courses to provide his patients with the latest treatment modalities available to date. Azariy Yusupov, DDS, is an experienced orthodontist at Amazing Smiles Orthodontics, serving individuals and families at three locations in the New York City area, Mill Basin, Brooklyn; Forest Hills, Queens; and Five Towns in Cedarhurst, Long Island.

Dr. Yusupov began his career pursuits at the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in Stony Brook, New York, earning his dental degree. 

Before entering private practice, he completed a three-year specialty program in orthodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in Newark. There, Dr. Yusupov received postdoctoral training in the latest orthodontic techniques, including temporary anchorage devices (TADs), clear braces, and Damon braces.

Dr. Yusupov is active in the professional orthodontic community. He regularly participates in continuing education courses and attends conferences to stay abreast of new technologies and treatment advances.
