Dr. Wood was born and raised in Santa Monica. She began her professional education at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in biology. She subsequently enrolled at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in Los Angeles and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2003.
During her time at USC, Dr. Wood regularly served underprivileged communities in California’s Central Valley as well as in Belize, Costa Rica, and Mexico. This work didn’t go unnoticed either; upon graduation, Dr. Wood received the Humanitarian Award for her service.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Wood has worked to establish close relationships with her patients. She loves getting to know them and creating customized care plans that improve their quality of life. Whenever possible, Dr. Wood uses conservative methods of treatment firmly rooted in scientific evidence. She always presents patients with valuable information and a range of treatment options to maintain their oral health.
Dr. Wood proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists. At one point, she also served on the board of the West Coast Oral-Maxillofacial Study Club.
When she isn’t augmenting her professional skills or meeting with patients, Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with her husband Jonathan and their two beautiful children. She also enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling.

After receiving a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley, Dr. Moayeri attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and graduated with a DDS degree in 1994. He has attended several continuing education courses to keep up with the latest advances in dental technology.
Dr. Moayeri is also an attorney and received his JD degree from Southwestern School of Law. Besides serving as an expert witness in court cases, he has lectured in legal aspects of dentistry.
